About "Alora Childcare"
Alora Childcare is a preschool and kindergarten provider operating from its centre at Leng Kee Community Centre in Queenstown, with coverage described as islandwide. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a Google rating of 4.8 out of 5 across 47 reviews — a moderate sample that is encouraging but worth supplementing with your own visit and enquiries. Fees are positioned at the mid-range ($$) for the Singapore childcare market, though specific monthly figures should be confirmed directly with the centre.
For families considering enrolment, the typical first step is to enquire about available slots for your intended start month, as places — particularly for younger age groups — can fill several months in advance. During your initial contact, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine and curriculum approach, and the settling-in period the centre uses to help children adjust. If your child holds Singapore citizenship, it is worth asking whether the centre is ECDA-approved to administer the Basic Subsidy and Working Mother's Subsidy, as these can meaningfully reduce out-of-pocket costs.
To take the next step, call Alora Childcare directly — phone is the listed contact channel — to check current vacancy for your child's age group and to arrange a centre visit before committing to registration.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

We spent precious time during our child’s preschool years with amazing teachers and classmates. All the teachers remember the children’s names—not only in their own classes but across other classes as well—which truly shows how much they care. They invest a great deal of time and effort, especially for seasonal celebrations and the year-end concert. Our child always loved going to school. The curriculum is very well balanced, and our child enjoyed learning a wide range of subjects such as languages, math, art, presentations, physical activities, music, and environmental studies. Highly recommended!
While Alora Preschool’s fees may be on the higher side, you truly get what you pay for in terms of care and service. I have two sons enrolled in different preschools, and the difference with Alora has been very clear from day one. One key highlight is the consistent communication, Alora maintains a WhatsApp chat with each child’s parents, and every 2–3 days (often almost daily), they provide updates on my child’s well-being, along with photos and videos. These updates let us see what our child is learning and experiencing in school, which is very reassuring as parents. Another standout is the teachers’ attitude and consistency. All the teachers, even those from other levels, make the effort to remember my child’s name and interact warmly with him. This creates a welcoming and caring environment that really shows. Most importantly, you can tell the difference when your child is happy and excited to go to school everyday. That, to us, says everything.
Choosing Alora Preschool for our son’s Playgroup (PG) year has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. As parents, the transition to school can be nerve-wracking, but the teachers at Alora made it seamless. What stands out most is the genuine attentiveness and warmth of the principal and teachers. They don't just 'watch' the children; they truly know them. They have been so incredibly caring toward our son, noticing the small details of his personality and ensuring he feels safe and loved every single day. Seeing him run into his classroom with a smile and not looking back, is the greatest peace of mind we could ask for. If you are looking for a nurturing environment where your child will be treated like family, I cannot recommend Alora Preschool highly enough!
Our daughter has been enrolled in Alora Preschool’s infant care class since she was just 3 months old, and we truly appreciate the peace of mind it has given us. Alora Preschool has provided her with the space and opportunity she needs to develop her skills, especially through the wide range of activities conducted by the teachers. She also enjoys the additional celebrations organised during special occasions. The teachers’ dedication and professionalism is definitely felt by all the parents, and we have been able to work together on our child’s development. We feel at ease during the work day knowing our daughter is in safe hands, and always look forward to the updates provided to us throughout the day. We are grateful for the entire Alora Preschool team for the love and care they have shown!
We enrolled our child to Alora preschool since she was an infant at 6 months old and she has since progressed to PG class. We initially chose Alora infant care as the environment was the cleanest and most pleasant out of all the infant care centers we visited. The past 1.5 years with Alora has been a wonderful experience for our family. The principal and teachers are caring, receptive to feedback and are prompt to address any concerns we have. They also put in so much effort into creating class activities and events for the children. Frequent photo and video updates of our child are provided via whatsapp communication - receiving these updates amidst our work day and seeing our child enjoying school really makes our day. Our child has also learnt so much in various aspects including basic skills such as using utensils, verbal communication and social skills. We are grateful and assured to have our child in Alora preschool!

Alora Childcare's specific monthly fee has not been published on this listing, so you will need to contact the centre directly for a current fee schedule. As a general guide, preschool and kindergarten fees in Singapore typically range from around S$700 to S$1,800 per month at private and community-based centres, depending on the child's age group and the number of hours enrolled. Beyond the monthly fee, ask about the one-time registration fee, a deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any charges for uniforms, insurance, or enrichment programmes. Childcare and kindergarten fees are GST-exempt in Singapore, so you should not be charged GST on tuition. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled in an ECDA-licensed childcare centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. Working mothers who clock 56 hours or more of work per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Subsidy. For lower-income families, the Additional Subsidy (income-tested) can bring combined support up to S$710 per month. Kindergarten-level enrolment may also attract the KidStart or KiFAS schemes where applicable. Permanent resident children may be eligible for partial subsidies at a reduced quantum compared to citizens. Subsidy rates are reviewed periodically, so always check the ECDA website for the most current figures and eligibility criteria before relying on any quoted amount. Confirm directly with Alora Childcare whether the centre is ECDA-approved to administer these subsidies.
Waitlists are common across Singapore's childcare and preschool sector, particularly for infant care places and at well-regarded centres. For infant care, families are generally advised to enquire six to twelve months before the intended start date; for childcare and kindergarten, three to six months ahead is a reasonable lead time. January is the peak intake month, so competition for places is highest around that period. To secure a slot, most centres require payment of a registration fee and, upon offer, a deposit. Contact Alora Childcare directly by phone to ask about current availability for your child's age group and your preferred start month. If a place is not immediately available, ask whether there is a formal waitlist and what the process is for being notified when one opens up.
