About "Amazing Star Montessori"
Amazing Star Montessori is a preschool and kindergarten operating from its centre at 315C Yishun Avenue 9, Singapore 763315, and is listed as serving families islandwide. Families considering Amazing Star Montessori are encouraged to enquire early about available slots for their intended start month, as places at preschools can fill up several months in advance, particularly for infant care. When you make contact, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine and curriculum approach, and the settling-in period offered to new children. It is also worth discussing ECDA subsidy eligibility if your child is a Singapore citizen, as this can meaningfully reduce monthly fees. A centre visit will give you a direct sense of the environment and the teaching team before committing.

We’ve had a wonderful experience at Amazing Star. The school provides a caring and nurturing environment where children truly enjoy learning and growing. Teacher Chris has been an excellent English teacher — engaging, patient, and dedicated to helping the children develop strong language and communication skills. Teacher Cao is equally outstanding in Chinese, making the lessons enjoyable and helping the kids build a real interest in the language. Teacher Sophia has contributed greatly to Aavihshka’s growth; her warmth, encouragement, and attention have helped my child become more confident and independent. Even though Teacher Angie doesn’t directly take care of both my kids, they are very fond of her — which speaks volumes about her kindness and natural connection with the children. Overall, Amazing Star is a wonderful school with a committed and caring team of teachers. I’m truly happy with the progress and joy my children experience here.

As a general guide, preschool and kindergarten fees in Singapore typically range from a few hundred dollars to over a thousand dollars per month depending on the programme type, hours, and centre tier. In addition to the monthly tuition fee, most centres charge a one-off registration fee and a deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months' fees) when securing a place. There may also be costs for uniforms and personal accident insurance. Childcare fees in Singapore are GST-exempt. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children attending an ECDA-licensed childcare centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. Working mothers who clock 56 hours or more of work per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. Lower-income families may receive the Additional Subsidy, which can bring the combined monthly support to up to S$710 or more depending on household income. For kindergarten programmes, the KiFAS scheme provides fee assistance to eligible families. Permanent residents may receive partial subsidies at lower quantum than citizens. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are updated periodically, so always check directly with ECDA at www.ecda.gov.sg for the latest figures before making enrolment decisions. To access subsidies, the centre must hold an ECDA licence. Confirm this directly with Amazing Star Montessori.
Popular preschools and kindergartens in Singapore, particularly those offering infant care, can have waitlists stretching from three to twelve months. January is the primary intake month for most centres, meaning enquiries made in the second half of the preceding year tend to be most timely. Even for mid-year starts, it is advisable to reach out as early as possible. To secure a place once offered, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and a deposit. Contact Amazing Star Montessori directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check current availability for your child's intended start date and age group.
