About Apple Pie Language
Apple Pie Language is an enrichment class provider operating from 6A Chun Tin Road, Singapore 599593, with islandwide coverage. The listing has been verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed the provider's operating details and contact channels. It holds a 4.9-out-of-5 rating across 50 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that provides a reasonable directional signal. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session or package fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the provider.
Families considering Apple Pie Language should begin by enquiring about the level and syllabus fit for their child — whether the programme aligns with MOE primary or secondary English, or targets a specific language skill area. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as this affects both pacing and cost. Most enrichment providers offer a trial class before any term commitment is required, which is a sensible way to assess teaching style and how engaged your child is likely to be. Confirm whether sessions are held at the Chun Tin Road centre or online, and ask about the term structure and any materials fees that apply alongside the session rate.
To take the next step, contact Apple Pie Language via phone or the enquiry form to ask about available slots for your child's level, the trial class arrangement, and current term fees.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My child attended Apple Pie for a year and had a wonderful experience. The principal, teachers and administrators are caring, patient, and reliable. The lessons, activities and materials are thoughtfully crafted, creating an engaging learning environment. This positive experience has helped my child develop a genuine love for learning Chinese. They also shared updates, pictures and videos during the lessons that made me feel at ease. My older child also attended the speech and drama lessons at the school and thoroughly enjoyed them.
My son has been attending class for 2 terms now and he looks forward to every lesson. Teachers and admin staff are all very friendly, nurturing and warm. Teacher will call you on the first and last lesson to brief you about your child. As it is a drop off class, I'm not too sure what is being taught or how my child is performing, so it helps to be able to speak with teacher directly. Only concern is the physical location of center with the long narrow staircase leading up to entrance, it gets very crowded and difficult to fetch/drop off at the hour.
There is a dedicated team of patient teachers, assistants and principals to welcome each and every child. Patient to handle my 3 YO with separation anxiety. Dedicated to encouraging my non-mandarin speaking 6 YO fall in love with the language that he requests for extra classes. They enjoy the pace and activities. It is a warm and inviting school that is wonderful. Wish they had classes for older kids. Sad to graduate soon. Thank you Qing Wen, Kai Ern and Daphne Lao Shi for your care and concern. Sean and Finn love their Saturday mornings at Apple Pie! Thank you Ms Betty for handling all my endless and anxious questions. 🤩
My 2 daughters are currently attending Apple pie enrichment and speech and drama and they enjoy it greatly! Their confidence level in terms of speaking and performing has soared and they always come back singing! The teachers are also extremely engaging and caring and they show much enthusiasm in getting the children involved. We are v happy with the progress :)
My kids all LOVE going to Apple Pie Language. I cannot recommend their programmes highly enough. They make learning Chinese fun - my kids are much more confident and comfortable with Mandarin now. The teachers are warm and well-versed in their subject matter, and the student-teacher ratio is really good. The principal is understanding and down to earth. The curriculum is interesting and focuses on cultivating a love of the language rather than just pushing grades, which is much better in the long run. The costs are reasonable, the admin is so easy to communicate with, and the location is super convenient (right next to the train station & carpark!). 10/10 would recommend

Apple Pie Language displays a mid-range ($$) price indicator, but specific per-session rates, monthly package prices, and term fees are not publicly listed. In the Singapore enrichment market, language classes typically range from S$30–80 per session for group classes and S$80–150 or more for one-to-one tuition, depending on the provider, class size, and level. When enquiring, ask about the trial class fee (some providers charge a reduced rate or waive it), whether materials or workbooks are charged separately, and whether sibling or multi-term package discounts are available. Confirm the full cost before committing to a term. See the full Enrichment Classes cost guide for Singapore →
Many enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class before requiring a term commitment, and it is reasonable to ask Apple Pie Language whether this is available and what the trial fee, if any, is. A trial class is most useful when you use it to assess three things: whether the content level is appropriate for your child, how the teacher manages the pace and engages students, and whether your child responds positively to the teaching style. One session is rarely enough to judge language progress, but it gives a clear read on classroom dynamics and fit. If a trial is not offered, ask to observe a class or arrange a brief introductory conversation with the tutor before signing up for a full term.
Specific tutor credentials — such as NIE or MOE teaching background, degree qualification, or years of experience — are not listed in the publicly available information for Apple Pie Language. This is common for enrichment providers, who are not required to publish staff qualifications in the same way as MOE schools. When you contact the provider, it is worth asking directly whether tutors have an NIE teaching certification or a relevant degree, how many years they have been teaching the subject, and whether their materials are aligned to the current MOE syllabus or another framework such as IB or IGCSE. A tutor's ability to explain their syllabus alignment and adapt to a student's gaps is often a more useful indicator of quality than credentials alone.
