My family has been with Apple Tree Playhouse since 2021, starting with my first child — and now, all three of my kids are happily enrolled here. Despite moving further away from the school 2 years ago, we chose to remain with the school even if it meant that the daily commute will be longer and less convenient. The teachers are genuinely caring, nurturing, and incredibly supportive. They take the time to understand each child’s needs and always make the effort to communicate with parents regularly. It gives us peace of mind knowing our children are in good hands. Another highlight is the many events and activities the school organises to involve parents and even grandparents. Our child has been with AppleTree Playhouse since PG, and it has been a truly positive and enriching experience for our family. The teachers and administrative team have always worked closely with us, supporting our parenting journey while nurturing our child’s growth, abilities, and character.

My son recently graduated from Apple Tree Playhouse and my younger one is still studying there. The past 4 years with them was great and even though they were not the closest to my place, I willingly travelled for 4 years daily with two kids. The Principal Ms Wen is a confident leader and patient with first time parent like me when I had child-related queries. Many of the teachers I’ve met are passionate and responsible, to be fair, this line of work is not easy and good manpower is hard to find or retain. Even though I see some teachers come and go, I understand it is very common as who would not want to see the outside world when young. Tchr Elaine, Ya Jie Lao Shi, Mah Lao Shi, Tchr Geok see, teacher Jo, Lee Lao Shi are so great with the kids. The quality of the new teachers are good too, even if some are young-looking. I have seen and spoken to the founder Ms Dana and she’s so calm and zen and I could see her passion in early childhood when she shared about the history of apple tree. Parents were invited to the school every year end to attend an art exhibition, the works were created throughout the whole year and showcased, I see lots of effort and enjoy every year. The environment is nice, well maintained and clean, the food is tasty as attest to both my kids and also the parents do get to try the food cooked by the in-house chef when there are events. They have their own playground indoor in case of rain and also goes to library very frequently due to the location in north point city. The toilet even has an auntie to help with whoever needs help with toileting or shower. I also believe my children has nv gotten hfmd there or maybe just once but it could have been from outside too, I do not recall any huge case of hfmd outbreak for the past few years, which is very rare as I hear from my friends with kids in other schools sharing the woes of hfmd. The ratio of teacher to kids is great too. The school fees, though not the cheapest, is reasonable after deduction of incentives from working mom subsidy. I believe in paying fairly the the quality. I will continue to travel daily for the next 3 years for my #2. I highly recommend anyone who is still considering childcare centres to give them a chance and have a tour there!

We love Apple Tree Playhouse. The teachers are truly amazing and committed. They make sure every child feels safe, happy, and cared for. You can tell they genuinely love teaching and helping the kids grow. They also organize lots of fun activities that help children learn so much. Our child is always excited to go to school because of the teachers and all the interesting things they do.
