It was interesting to find a pottery studio located right inside a shopping mall—definitely not something you see every day. The studio itself is quite spacious and can accommodate a good number of participants at one time. The instructor walks you through the basic pottery techniques step by step, making it beginner-friendly and easy to follow. By the end of the session, you’re able to create a simple pottery piece of your own, which is a fun and satisfying experience. That said, the price is on the higher side, so it may feel a bit expensive for what’s offered.

This was a truly memorable and enjoyable bonding experience with my two teenage daughters, making two pieces of pottery with 2 hours of wheel-throwing. Phoebe was a great instructor, going through the steps with us, and lending a helping hand when we needed it. Pleased with our pieces and the relaxed atmosphere as well as the lovely spacious high-ceiling environment. Most convenient and centralised location for pottery - they have their own kiln too! Appreciate that the package includes glazing with a colour of our choice.

Overall, the workshop was really fun. It was my first time doing wheel throwing and I enjoyed it very much. Only thing I would feedback would be that the instructor asked if we needed help before rushing in to "redo" our piece. I had that done to me on both my pieces and felt forced to make a perfect item despite loving my imperfect piece I had first made. Location was good as many of such classes are usually held in less convenient places. Of course, the cost comes with this as it's held in Orchard.
