Little Seeds Preschool at Ascension has been an absolutely wonderful place for our son to grow and thrive. The teachers provide a truly nurturing and supportive environment, focusing not just on academics but also on character development and imbuing Christian values. We are especially impressed with the spacious campus, which offers fantastic indoor and outdoor learning areas like the gym and bike track. Over the last few years, we have met many dedicated teachers who we are very thankful for. I highly recommend this school to any family looking for a caring, values-based start to their child's education.
Great teachers, great environment, great culture. Kids look forward to school everyday, and I have a peace of mind with timely updates and the comfort in knowing that my kids are in good hands. The curriculum is great too, kids learn so much and the sense of wonder in them sparkles whenever they share something interesting they have learnt in the day. Thank you LSP(COA) for the love and care you have given to my children.
We are so thankful for Little Seeds Preschool (Church of the Ascension) and the incredible team of teachers who make it such a nurturing and values-driven environment for our children. The school truly prioritises character development and positive learning dispositions — helping the children grow not just in knowledge, but in kindness, curiosity, and resilience. The teachers are experienced, caring, and deeply committed to the children’s well-being. Ms Kattie brings such warmth and creativity to her classroom; Wu Laoshi and Zhou Laoshi are patient and engaging, helping the children develop a love for Mandarin from a young age; and teachers like Ms Phoebe, Ms Lynn, Ms Vera, Liu Shu Mei Laoshi always takes time to connect with the children individually, guiding them with both gentleness and structure. We also want to thank Ms Wei Sum for her strong leadership and her heart for both staff and students. It’s clear that she leads with purpose and care, creating a school culture that is grounded in faith and excellence. Our family has seen our children grow in confidence, joy, and compassion since joining the school. We are truly grateful for this community that partners with parents in nurturing both heart and mind.
Thank you teachers for your hard work in training the students up for the performance! We understand that it takes alot of patience and love to guide them towards a great performance! Just a little note that the sitting in the church might not be ideal as those sitting at the back could not see the children in front, hence, there were alot of parents standing at the side to video the kids. The side tv projections were not adjusted too...just a little thought for your next graduation concert. ☺️
A very nice school for early childhood development, a school that truly focus on the chlid's growth from character and personality to being pious and kind. The teachers encourages learning through analysis, experiments and thereby developing their curiosity. I strongly recommend the school for a wonderful and fun filled experience for the child at the early schooling.

Exact monthly fees are not published on this listing, so it is best to contact the centre directly for a current fee schedule. Singapore citizen children enrolled in a licensed childcare or kindergarten programme may be eligible for government subsidies administered by ECDA. The Basic Subsidy provides up to S$300 per month for childcare (and up to S$600 per month for infant care). Working mothers who clock at least 56 hours of work per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Relief subsidy. For lower-income households, the Additional Subsidy is income-tested and can bring total combined assistance up to S$710 per month or more. Children who are Singapore Permanent Residents may be eligible for partial subsidies at lower quantum. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so always check the ECDA website directly for the most current figures before making enrolment decisions. Note that Ascension Kindergarten does not currently list ECDA licensing on this directory. Confirm with the centre whether it is an ECDA-licensed operator, as subsidy eligibility depends on this status.
Popular preschools and kindergartens in Singapore often fill their cohorts several months ahead of the intended start date. For January intake — the main enrolment window — it is advisable to begin enquiring between six and twelve months in advance, particularly if you are looking at the younger Nursery or Kindergarten 1 levels. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit at the point of offer. These amounts vary by centre, so confirm the figures with Ascension Kindergarten when you make contact. Reach out directly via phone or the enquiry form on this listing to ask about current availability for your child's intended start month. The centre will be best placed to advise on whether a waitlist applies and how to proceed.
