I would give much more stars if I could! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My journey at AARO for radiotherapy started on 24 April 2023 when I was referred to Dr Daniel Tan by Dr Lim SK from LUMA Surgery. I have a lot of questions however he was very patience and thorough w his explanation💖 AARO is located on B1 at Crawfurd Hospital on 19 Adam Road, in a pretty cozy yet intimate setting environment. I was skeptical at first due to its location unlike near to mrt as Mount E Novena or Royal SQ however parking is never an issue apparently here (Free for patient - a big plus point for me💖) It was daunting initially when I was told that I need to come in DAILY for the next 21 days on weekdays. As days goes by, I feel so at ease and at home because of the warmness, the wonderful hospitality and professionalism shown by the staff members - Pei Shi, Patricia, Cecelia, Hui Leng, Vani, Carrin and Stella and not forgetting Dr Daniel Tan who diligently check on my progress regularly. Apart from the advance technology AARO has to treat my cancer, I must say the entire process is rather smooth whereby I feel comfortable and no pain, except I need to hold my breath for 10-30secs each time the machine operates, so my heart won’t be affected. I was given my own set of breathing device, set of clothings to be changed into are always clean, folded with also good selection of coffee, tea and milo at reception area. Importantly the staff are very patient and kind with me throughout and they feel truly like an extended family. My last day of radiotherapy ended on 23 May 2023 finally. I was so grateful that I just blurted out to say “Hope to see you again” however instantly the staff members responded “No No!!! We don’t hope to see you again - for treatment but yesss hope we will meet outside the hospital in future!!😜😜😜 So if you’re reading this for a review, I assure you the experience will be a pleasant and memorable one for lifetime. I can’t thank you enough for all the staff members I came across with but the world needs to know all the gems 💎 hidden here at AARO my heartfelt thanks 💖💖💖 Thanks too to Joann the marketing lady at AARO who shared with me her journey as well, I’m truly inspired and super blessed to be able to create the awareness and share the goods of the advance medical technologies here to help more patients and thank all the amazing awesome ppl I met 😘😘😘

Am writing this review to commend and thank Dr David Tan for his clinical expertise in the field of Radiation Oncology and his skill in the more complex internal radiotherapy (Brachytherapy). Our family also recommend Dr David for others who are seeking radiotherapy. My mother, 65 years old had Stage 3C Cervical Cancer and was under the care of Dr David. Under his care, my mom undergoes 32 sessions in about 5 weeks from Oct to early Nov 2022. In late December, scans and cancer marker shows no tumor. And till date, in Feb 2023. PET Scan shows no issue thus far. Dr David has superior communication skills putting patient and family ease. He is great in handling difficult conversation. More importantly, clarity in his explanation about treatment plans. It took me and my family only now to write his review because only now it is evident my mom responded well to the treatment plan by Dr David. Area of Improvement - admin team need to be proactive and not inconvenience patient and their family in terms of scheduling, financial and always requesting to bring documents last minute
