About Aureus Academy
Aureus Academy is a music school operating islandwide across Singapore, verified by KakiList and registered with ACRA. It holds a Google rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 108 reviews, a robust sample that lends reasonable confidence to that score. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific per-session or monthly fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the academy.
Families enquiring about music lessons should start by identifying the instrument, the learner's current level, and the syllabus or examination board they wish to follow — for example, ABRSM, Trinity College London, or a non-examination recreational track. Aureus Academy offers lessons across multiple centres islandwide, so it is worth confirming which location is most convenient before proceeding. Prospective students should ask about group lessons versus one-to-one tuition, the term commitment required, and whether a trial class is available to assess fit before signing up for a full term.
To get started, reach out to Aureus Academy via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to confirm instrument availability, location, scheduling, and current fees, and to request a trial class before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My daughter Isabel learns piano and voice lessons with Ms. Jenna. She is a gem of a teacher and has helped to reinstate and grow Isabel’s love for music. She is the most patient and motivating teacher, Isabel absolutely loves the lessons with her. She had helped Isabel build confidence to perform at the recent recital and it was a great experience and opportunity. It was heartwarming to see the kind of personal attention and guidance she gave to each of her students. Thank you so much Ms. Jenna, you’re making such big changes in the lives of the little ones you teach. Ms. Jenna is also extremely accommodating of changing lesson schedule if we have inconveniences and is proactive to mark the changes from her end. I find this very supportive and helpful. While it has been a great journey with Ms. Jenna, I’ve previously had some difficulties in moving lessons around and in finding help with some invoice related issues in the past, I’m assuming it is because the team/person at the front desk used to change very frequently and that has caused some confusions. I hope the management takes note that it is important for parents to have a stable and consistent front desk support. I’m only mentioning this so that parents make sure they have the app installed and monitor the schedule/make-up lessons etc. Overall, I am very happy with my daughter’s music journey with Ms. Jenna and the team.
My child has been joining Aureus with Teacher Jenna for more than 1.5 years. During the recital, she showed remarkable progress and confidence. She truly enjoys the class and loves Teacher Jenna because she is kind, patient with the children, and creates a comfortable learning environment for my child. Although the location is quite far from our home, she still chooses to study there because of Teacher Jenna. Thank you, Teacher Jenna! Also, Aureus Academy is quite flexible when it comes to make-up classes if we are unable to attend. Overall, we really love this center.
Ms Ling Ling has been extremely patient and detailed in teaching my 3.5 years old son. He thoroughly enjoys his lessons with Ms Ling Ling and has shown good improvement in both practical and theory skills. Ms Ling Ling provides timely updates on his progress on the Aureus app, which allows me to keep track of his learning journey. I would highly recommend Ms Ling Ling and hope she can continue with my son on his musical learning journey!
We’ve had a wonderful experience with Aureus Academy. The environment is welcoming and supportive, and the teachers are truly dedicated. Special thanks to Teacher Ling Ling, whose guidance has helped my daughter make remarkable progress in just a year. We also appreciate Yuuvatra’s great assistance during the recent recital at MBS—it made the event smooth and memorable. Highly recommend this school for anyone looking for quality music education!
My son has been learning piano from teacher Michelle Leong since he was 3+ years old. Michelle has been very patient in teaching my son. He has been improving because of the guidance of Teacher Michelle. Also, it impressed me during his first piano performance in Aureus. He did well, and he is also very confident and brave to perform in front of so many people. Kudos to Teacher Michelle. I look forward to more impressive performances, improvement and guidance for my son. Great and an honour to have teacher Michelle Leong as my son Piano Teacher.

Aureus Academy's per-session or monthly fees are not publicly listed, so you will need to contact them directly for a current quote. Music tuition in Singapore typically ranges from S$30–80 per session for group lessons and S$60–150 or more per session for one-to-one tuition, depending on the instrument, the teacher's experience, and the lesson duration. Ask whether fees are structured per session, per month, or per term, and confirm whether there are registration fees, materials charges, or examination entry fees on top of tuition. Sibling discounts or package deals may be available for families enrolling more than one child. See the full Music Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many music schools in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or included as part of the enrolment process. It is worth asking Aureus Academy directly whether a trial lesson is available and what it costs before committing to a full term. Use the trial class to assess whether the teaching style suits the learner's personality and pace, whether the level is appropriately calibrated, and whether the student feels engaged and comfortable with the teacher. For younger children especially, rapport with the instructor matters as much as technical competence. If a trial class is not offered, ask whether you can observe a lesson or speak with the assigned teacher before signing up.
Aureus Academy's individual instructor qualifications are not listed in the available public information. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each teacher's formal music qualifications, performance background, and experience teaching students at your child's age and level. For examination-track students — for example, those working towards ABRSM or Trinity grades — confirm that the assigned teacher is familiar with the relevant syllabus and has experience preparing students for those specific examinations. For recreational learners, teaching style and ability to motivate students often matters more than formal credentials alone. Contact Aureus Academy directly to ask about the qualifications and experience of the teacher who would be assigned to your child before committing to a term.
