I used to go to their outlet in Bedok before I retired. I decided to visit them again as I was feeling tired and to my amazement their service has gotten better. I had a well knowledgeable masseur, he did an exellent job of giving me a thorough rubdown and I felt completely different. I would like to suggest that if you have a need of a massage, please go to them and you will get the treatment to help you. Thanks Ayur Centre Bedok for a wonderful and fulfilling massage. Keep up the good work. All the Best Alex Morier

No formal referral is required to book with Ayur Centre Singapore. Most holistic wellness providers conduct a brief intake or assessment during the first visit to understand your health background, current concerns, and any contraindications — this is standard practice and helps the practitioner tailor the session appropriately. If you have a complex medical condition, chronic illness, or are pregnant, it is worth letting the centre know when you book so they can advise on suitability. A GP referral is generally not necessary for direct bookings, but can be useful if you intend to claim against an insurance policy that requires a referral letter or if your condition involves a recent surgery or acute injury.
Regulatory requirements for holistic wellness practitioners in Singapore vary by modality. Physiotherapists and occupational therapists are registered with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC); TCM practitioners are registered with the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board (TCMPB); and medical doctors fall under the Singapore Medical Council (SMC). These registers are publicly searchable and you can verify a named practitioner's registration status before your appointment. For holistic modalities that do not fall under a statutory board — such as Ayurvedic therapy, reflexology, or other complementary practices — there is currently no mandatory government licensing in Singapore. In these cases, ask the centre directly about the practitioner's training background, certifications, and professional affiliations. No specific licences were listed for Ayur Centre Singapore at the time of this listing, so confirming credentials directly with the centre is advisable before treatment.
