I made my second visit to Ayush Ayurvedic Clinic located at Race Course Road for treatment of my disc bulge issue. This time my therapist was Mr. Nandhakumar. He is very skilled and passionate throughout the session. His stretching techniques were very effective, especially for disc bulge and sciatica problems. I felt good relief after the treatment. Highly recommended for anyone facing similar issues.

I recently visited Ayush at Racecourse Road for treatment, and I would like to express my appreciation for Mr. Nandakumar, my therapist. He is a highly skilled professional who is very focused and attentive throughout the therapy session. His technique, care, and dedication made the treatment extremely effective and comfortable. I truly felt the difference after the session. Highly recommended! I would like to add that I will be extending my package specifically because of Mr. Nandakumar. His skill, professionalism, and focused approach make every session truly effective. Therapists like him make a real difference, and I’m very happy with his service

Indian traditional medicine, recommended by friend. I had knee and back problems. Treated by Western med and followed physiotherapy session. But, recurrent symptoms. Visited this for the first time, seem by an Indian Dr. He shared the anatomy diagram electronically, in 3D ...impressive. described the possibilities of my issues and suggested for hot oil treatment. The treatment is a series that requires repeated visit. Generally, the staff are courteous and gentle. Therapists are many. Services extended to next-door shop houses.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Ayush Ayurvedic charge per session?

Ayush Ayurvedic uses a mid-range pricing tier. Exact per-session rates are not publicly listed, so it is worth contacting the centre directly to confirm current fees for specific treatments such as abhyanga, shirodhara, or consultation packages. Most wellness centres at this tier charge S$80–200 per session for Ayurvedic treatments, with package deals reducing the per-session cost for recurring bookings. Confirm whether the initial consultation is charged separately and whether any no-show or late-cancellation fee applies. See the full Holistic cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

No formal referral is required to visit Ayush Ayurvedic. However, an initial consultation to assess your Ayurvedic constitution (prakriti) and any current health imbalances (vikriti) is standard practice and helps the practitioner recommend the most appropriate treatment. Arrive prepared to complete an intake form covering your medical history, current medications, and health goals. Certain treatments — such as shirodhara or intensive detox protocols — have contraindications including pregnancy, recent surgery, active skin conditions, and some cardiovascular conditions, so full disclosure at the first visit is important. If you plan to claim the cost through an insurer, check whether a GP referral letter is required by your policy before booking.

Is the practitioner licensed?

Ayurvedic practitioners in Singapore are not currently regulated under a statutory licensing board equivalent to the Allied Health Professions Council or the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board. There is no government register to cross-check Ayurvedic credentials against at present. As a result, voluntary qualifications and institutional affiliations carry more weight here. It is reasonable to ask the practitioner directly about their training background, the institution where they qualified, and how many years they have been practising Ayurveda before proceeding with treatment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
