Families considering enrolment should begin by enquiring about the level and syllabus fit for their child, as enrichment programmes often span a wide age range and skill progression. It is worth asking whether Bake King offers group sessions or one-to-one instruction, and whether classes are held on-site at Haig Road or available online. Prospective students are encouraged to check whether a trial class is available before committing to a term, and to clarify any materials or equipment requirements in advance. Term commitment length and make-up class policies are also worth confirming at the point of enquiry.
To get started, reach out to Bake King via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form listed on this page to ask about current class schedules, availability, and whether a trial session can be arranged before a term commitment is made.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Was trying to look for monk fruit sweetener or stevia, but unfortunately they don't carry them. That said, I have to say that they have the friendliest staff here. Totally felt welcome right when you step into the place!
Altho not the cheapest, but definitely high quality assurance! Tried a few of Bake King's products and didn't look back. Will continue to explore their prod range for my baking needs!
Was looking for specific sprinkle toppings for my daily yoghurt but couldn’t find it at supermarkets until friends recommended me this particular store. Pleasantly surprised at the wide range of sprinkle toppings which aren’t very common. Price was reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit again.
It’s a place where I tend to go if I cannot find the item in Phoon Huat though I am not always lucky Staff are friendly and helpful
Nice and friendly staffs. Almost most of the baking things are available here. The prices are reasonable.

Bake King displays a mid-range price tier ($$), though specific per-session, monthly package, or term fees are not published on this listing. Enrichment classes in Singapore are typically priced on a per-session basis, as a bundled monthly package, or as a fixed term fee — it is worth asking which model applies here. Additional costs to clarify include any trial class fee, materials or equipment charges (particularly relevant for baking-related enrichment), and whether sibling discounts or multi-class package deals are available. See the full enrichment class cost guide for Singapore →
Many enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate, to allow prospective students to assess fit before signing up for a full term. It is advisable to confirm whether Bake King offers this option and what the trial class costs. During a trial, pay attention to whether the pace and level are appropriate for your child, how the instructor manages the class, and whether your child is engaged throughout. A good fit on teaching style and class size matters as much as the subject itself. Contact Bake King directly via WhatsApp or phone to ask about trial class availability and scheduling.
Specific instructor credentials are not published on this listing. For enrichment classes, relevant qualifications to ask about include formal culinary or baking training, any industry certifications, years of teaching experience, and whether the curriculum is aligned to a recognised standard or internally developed. If MOE syllabus alignment is relevant to your child's learning goals, confirm this directly with Bake King. For baking enrichment in particular, practical experience and a structured progressive curriculum are meaningful indicators of programme quality. When you get in touch, ask to speak with or meet the lead instructor before committing to a term.
