About Believer Music
Believer Music is a music school operating islandwide from its centre at Velocity @ Novena Square, verified by KakiList and registered with ACRA. It holds a Google rating of 4.7 out of 5 across 31 reviews — a moderate sample that offers a reasonable directional signal of quality. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$) for the Singapore music education market, though specific per-session or monthly fees are not publicly listed.
Parents and prospective students are encouraged to enquire about level and syllabus fit before enrolling — whether that is beginner piano, theory grades, or an instrument not listed on the website. It is worth asking whether lessons are available one-to-one or in small groups, and whether the school follows an established syllabus such as ABRSM, Trinity College London, or an in-house curriculum. Clarify the term commitment required, whether a trial class is available before signing up, and whether lessons are conducted in-person at the Novena Square location or have any online option. Materials fees, if any, should also be confirmed upfront.
To take the next step, reach out to Believer Music via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current availability, your preferred instrument and level, and whether a trial class can be arranged before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
Located at L2 of Velocity, near the escalators by the information counter. As of 2026, escalators are renovating so only access to L2 would be the set escalators nearer the Novena MRT side.
All staff are friendly . My harp teacher Jasmine is very professional and patience . I jus sent my guitar for re- string . The charges at believers are very reasonable . Also teacher Jasmine made it easy for us to learn the Harp . Think anyone who wish to take up any instrument should try out classes conduct by Believers music school.
Not-so-pleasant experience. My daughter and husband signed up for Ukulele level 1 package. Initially, it was great since it was 1-1 promotion and the Ukulele Teacher was fantastic. However, when we wanted to progress to level 2, we were told the class is no longer running and now my daughter has no class to attend. They claimed they will check for other alternative classes but nobody follow up till date. It is a shame that they were so aggressive to sell you the initial membership but they cannot offer your class to progress your music learning :(
Awesome place to be at. Thank you Eileen (hope I got her name right) and another lady (which I forgot to get her name) for letting me try on the guitar. I was contemplating in whether or not I should get it. Was thinking of getting it for myself as a bday present in Dec but then again, why not get it now and play some songs to de-stress myself. If you guys want to look for musical instruments, do come here and have a try. And yes they let you try their instruments without restrictions. (of course you have to respect the instruments) And they're not being pushy on asking you to buy. Overall love everything about this place and their service.
Thank you Believer's music for having trial lessons for every kind of musical instrument that allows me to try out the drum lessons. Thanks to Coach Jim that makes it so easy to pick it up that I am thrilled to able to pick up a few strokes and play along with a few songs. Also thanks to Ms Joanne for her friendliness and patience to assist me in signing up the 1st level of worship drum lesson. I look forward to my class starting in July 25 that I have new ways to worship God!

Believer Music has not published a specific per-session rate publicly, so you will need to enquire directly for current pricing. In the broader Singapore music school market, individual instrument lessons typically range from S$40–80 per session for group classes and S$60–150 or more per session for one-to-one tuition, depending on the instructor's experience and the instrument. Ask whether fees are structured as a per-session rate, a monthly package, or a per-term commitment. Clarify whether there is a registration or enrolment fee, any materials or grade examination fees, and whether sibling or multi-lesson discounts apply. A trial class, if offered, may be priced separately or credited against the first term. See the full Music Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many music schools in Singapore offer a trial lesson or introductory session before a student commits to a term or monthly package. It is worth asking Believer Music directly whether a trial class is available, what it costs, and whether that fee is offset against future enrolment. During a trial, look for whether the pacing suits the student's current level, whether the teaching style is encouraging and clear, and whether the lesson content aligns with the syllabus or goals you have in mind — for example, recreational playing versus working towards a graded examination. A trial also gives you a sense of the studio environment and whether the student feels comfortable with the instructor. If a formal trial is not offered, ask whether you can observe a lesson or arrange an informal assessment session before signing up.
Specific tutor qualifications for Believer Music are not listed publicly. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each instructor's formal training — for example, whether they hold a music degree or diploma, a teaching certification such as ABRSM DipMus or LMus, and how many years of teaching experience they have. For examination-focused tuition, ask whether the tutor is familiar with the specific board your child is working towards, such as ABRSM, Trinity College London, or LCM. For students preparing for school music assessments, ask whether the tutor has experience with the MOE curriculum or the relevant O-Level or A-Level music syllabus. If this information is not readily available on the school's website, contact Believer Music directly and ask to be matched with an instructor whose background suits your child's goals and current level.
