About Blue House International

About "Blue House International"

Blue House International is a preschool and kindergarten located at 17 Jalan Mutiara, Singapore 249196, verified by KakiList and registered with ACRA. The centre holds a Google rating of 3.7 out of 5, though this is based on only 3 reviews and should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Pricing is indicated at the mid-range tier ($$).

Families considering Blue House International are encouraged to enquire early about available slots for their intended start month, as preschool places — particularly for younger age groups — can fill quickly. When you make contact, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the structure of the daily routine, and how the centre approaches the settling-in period for new children. It is also worth confirming whether the centre is ECDA-registered, as this determines eligibility for government childcare subsidies available to Singapore citizen children. You can reach the centre by phone or via the enquiry form listed on their profile.

As a next step, arrange a visit to the centre in person to meet the lead teacher, view the learning environment, and review the parent contract before committing to enrolment. Listing data is incomplete — contact "Blue House International" directly to confirm details.

What reviewers say about Blue House International

Summary based on 3 Google reviews.

Blue House International struggles with responsiveness, with parents reporting unanswered emails and contact forms, raising concerns about the attentiveness staff would provide to children. The school's communication style appears dismissive according to feedback, with at least one parent noting that their experience with follow-up responses made them relieved they chose elsewhere. These communication gaps represent a significant barrier to parents seeking enrollment information and ongoing engagement with the institution.

It is impossible to reach them. Emails, contact forms, not even a response. I can’t imagine how attentive they would be to the kids. Edit: After seeing the response I’ve gotten below, I am glad we did not send our daughter here. I hope you would improve your customer engagement style in the future.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Blue House International" charge per month?

Blue House International is priced in the mid-range tier ($$) for Singapore preschools and kindergartens, though a specific monthly fee has not been published on this listing. When enquiring, ask for a full fee breakdown that includes the registration fee, refundable deposit (typically equivalent to two months' fees), and any charges for uniforms or personal accident insurance. Childcare and kindergarten fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the quoted monthly fee should reflect the total payable amount. Fee structures can vary depending on session type (half-day versus full-day) and the child's age group, so confirm the exact figure for your child's specific programme directly with the centre. What subsidies can I claim at "Blue House International"?

Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed childcare centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy (up to S$600 per month for infant care, or up to S$300 per month for childcare), which reduces the gross fee payable. Working mothers employed for at least 56 hours per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy. For lower-income households, the Additional Subsidy (income-tested) can bring combined support to up to S$710 per month. For kindergartens specifically, the KiFAS (Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme) provides means-tested fee assistance for eligible families. Singapore Permanent Residents may qualify for partial subsidies at lower quantum levels. Subsidy rates are updated periodically — always refer to the ECDA website for the most current figures, and confirm with the centre whether it is ECDA-registered before assuming subsidy eligibility.

Is there a waitlist at "Blue House International"?

Availability at popular preschools and kindergartens in Singapore can be limited, and it is advisable to enquire at least three to six months ahead of your intended start date. Infant care places in particular tend to fill earliest, with some centres booked six to twelve months in advance. January is the primary intake month for most programmes, though mid-year vacancies do occasionally arise. To secure a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and, upon an offer being made, a deposit. Contact Blue House International directly by phone or through the enquiry form to check current availability and to understand their specific registration process and intake timeline.
