About Blue House International

About Blue House International

Blue House International is an international school located at 2 Turf Club Road, Singapore 287988. The listing is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a 4.3/5 rating across 24 Google reviews — a moderate sample size, though prospective families should treat this as directional. No EduTrust certification details are currently on record for this listing, which is noted below.

When considering enrolment, families should clarify the curriculum track offered — whether IB, American AP, British IGCSE and A-Level, or another pathway — as this has a direct bearing on university admissions outcomes. Request the full annual cost breakdown in writing: annual tuition, the non-refundable enrolment fee, refundable deposit (typically one term's fees), any building or capital levy, and estimated transport and meal costs. Enquire about the student-teacher ratio, SEN support capacity, and the proportion of expat versus Singaporean students. Arrange a school visit during operating hours and, where possible, meet the relevant year-group lead before proceeding to an intake assessment.

Contact Blue House International directly by phone or via the enquiry form on their listing to request a prospectus, confirm current fee schedules, and arrange a school visit or open day.

Awful first impression of the operator who answered the phone on 28/1/2026. I called to ask about availability and to schedule a viewing. Without allowing me to complete sentences, she kept repeating: "Go to website, go to website". Upon checking their website, the viewing dates were weeks away. I called again to schedule an earlier viewing; she simply said, "That means we are full. Thank you," then hung up the phone. If this is how they treat parents, I can't even begin to imagine how dismissive they are to children.

Our son Luke loved The Children’s Place as it was called then. He was there for 3 years from around 2018. Caring teachers and a good mix of kids from different cultural backgrounds. Wonderful grounds to play in. Definitely recommend.

Bluehouse is a highly regarded school, known for its diverse mix of local and international students, offering a unique and enriching educational experience. What truly sets Bluehouse apart is not only its team of highly professional educators but also the exceptional leadership of the Principal at Kay Siang, Ms Shobah. I’ve had the privilege of personally communicating with her, and what stands out is her hands-on approach. She makes it a point to connect with every child, engaging with them directly and ensuring that each student receives the attention and care they deserve. My daughter truly enjoys her time at school and is always looking forward to it. One of the highlights is the impressive community park, a space that my daughter eagerly anticipates. It’s a rare feature in Singapore, offering a unique environment for the students to learn and play.

Blue House International School is a school I wish I could send my children to forever. During our time in Singapore, they engaged my child, provoked her curiosity, and made her confident in her ability to figure things out and learn on her own terms. The staff is warm and exceptionally adept at guiding kids. The facility is serene and has so many natural elements that keep kids regulated and engaged in the world outside the classroom. The classrooms are inspiring and full of artifacts of the kids learning. The pedagogy is top notch and their communication to parents is consistent and detailed. We had to say goodbye to Blue House when we moved back to the USA, and it is a loss I still feel each and every day. This is a magical place and you will not regret trusting them with your young child.

We love the staff and their teaching philosophy. They believe each child develops at their own pace and they should enjoy being children. All Singapore daycare facilities have English and Chinese teachers plus associated classes, but what makes this place special is the people. All teachers, principal, and manager truly care for the children, you can see it in the children's genuine smiles when you visit the school. The children also come from diverse backgrounds and interact positively with one another. The facility is old due to government restrictions on building renovations, but the large backyard allows children to safely play outside and with nature, which is hard to find in central Singapore. This place is truly a hidden gem amongst the many cookie cutter daycares/preschools in Singapore.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Blue House International charge?

Annual tuition at international schools in Singapore typically ranges from S$25,000 to S$60,000 or more, depending on the year group and curriculum. Blue House International has not published a specific fee schedule on this listing, so families should request the full cost breakdown directly. Beyond tuition, budget for a non-refundable enrolment fee (commonly S$3,500–S$7,500), a refundable deposit (usually one term's tuition), a building or capital levy at some schools (S$10,000–S$25,000), transport (S$3,500–S$8,000 per year), and meals (S$1,500–S$4,000 per year). Fee increases of 8–12% annually are not uncommon across the sector, so factor this into a multi-year commitment. Tuition fees are GST-exempt. What curriculum does Blue House International offer and what university pathways does it support?

The curriculum track offered by Blue House International is not specified in this listing. Families should confirm directly whether the school follows the IB Diploma Programme, American AP, British IGCSE with A-Levels, or another pathway, as each has distinct university admissions strengths — IB is broadly accepted globally, AP is strongest for US university entry, and A-Levels align well with UK admissions. Ask the school whether it publishes university destination data, such as IB average scores, AP pass rates, or records of where graduates have been accepted. Also enquire about class size and the student-teacher ratio, which at well-resourced international schools typically sits between 16 and 20 students per teacher. If the school publishes an annual report or destinations list, reviewing it alongside a school visit will give the clearest picture of academic outcomes.

How do I get my child enrolled at Blue House International?

Start by contacting Blue House International by phone or via their enquiry form to confirm current availability for your child's year group. Popular year groups — particularly entry points at Year 7 to Year 9 — can have waitlists, so enquiring early is advisable. The typical process involves an online or paper application, a school visit, and, for older students, an intake assessment to confirm appropriate year-group placement. You will normally be asked to pay the non-refundable enrolment fee and a refundable deposit to secure a place; confirm in writing what is and is not refundable should circumstances change mid-year. Recommend visiting during school hours and meeting the relevant year-group lead before committing. Confirm all fee components — tuition, enrolment fee, deposit, building fund if applicable, and transport and meal options — in writing before making any payment.
