Funeral arrangements in Singapore typically begin with a call to confirm availability and discuss the immediate needs of the family — type of service (Buddhist, Taoist, Christian, Muslim, or civil), wake venue (void deck, home, funeral parlour), duration of wake (typically two to four days), and casket selection. Families will also need to address death registration with the National Registry of Persons, burial versus cremation preference, and the relevant booking at a National Environment Agency cemetery or crematorium. A reputable funeral service provider will guide next-of-kin through each administrative step, coordinate with hospitals or mortuaries for the transfer of the deceased, and manage logistics so the family can focus on bereavement.
To begin arrangements, contact Budget Casket Company by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing. Given the time-sensitive nature of funeral logistics, a direct phone call is generally the quickest way to confirm availability and begin the process.

We are very grateful to Elaine Chai, our undertaker in charge, for her professionalism and compassion during this difficult time. From the beginning, Elaine handled everything with great care, patience, and respect for our family and our loved one. She guided us through the entire process clearly and calmly, making sure every detail was well taken care of. Her kindness, understanding, and willingness to go the extra mile gave our family comfort and peace of mind during such an emotional period. Thank you, Elaine and team, for your dedication and for supporting our family with such sincerity and empathy. We truly appreciate all the effort you put in to help us give our loved one a respectful and meaningful farewell.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to Indren and the entire team for conducting my father’s final rites with such care and professionalism. All logistics were handled smoothly, and the team respected our instructions on how my father should be presented at his funeral with great attention to detail. Everything was managed seamlessly, without any hiccups, which gave our family much peace of mind during a very difficult time. A special thank you goes to Joel for his prompt responses, patient coordination, and support in accommodating multiple last-minute requests. We truly appreciate that he even checked in after the funeral to ensure everything was in order. Room for improvement would be in the ritual portion and the itinerary for the days, which could be more detailed and regularly updated to keep the family informed. Overall we are satisfied with your service and support. Thank you Singapore casket 🙏
A huge thank you to Ms. Ellaine Chai and her team. To mention Anthony, Aru,Joshua, TP, Jaya, KK, As our case was extra special, no embalming involved, they did their best for the family to let us view him one last time before sealing the casket. Everything was handled smoothly and with care, and it really helped take a load off our minds during a tough time. The staff were respectful, patient, and professional throughout, Especially Ms. Ellaine, the Funeral director who made sure everything runs smoothly from start to end. I even had to call her in the middle of the night and that she was prompt in attending the issue. The wake was held at our residence and that they set it up beautifully. I know my husband would have been proud of what the team has done. It felt like he was already in paradise. Flowers filled our house until the garage. We truly appreciate the support and service Ms Ellaine, Anthony and her team have provided.
We are truly grateful for the support and professionalism shown by our funeral advisor - Ms Elaine Chai during my dad’s final journey. From the very beginning, she was respectful, patient, and incredibly well-organized. She guided us through every step and took care of all the arrangements seamlessly, allowing our family to focus on remembering and honoring my dad without having to worry about the administrative details. During such a difficult time, her calm presence and attention to detail meant a lot to us. Thank you for helping us give my dad a dignified and meaningful farewell. Also special mention to the support team helmed by Ms Lina who ensured that the final day to Mandai crematorium, as well as the ash scattering at Choa Chu Kang was seamless.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the excellent service and care provided by Singapore Casket. We wish to especially commend CYRUS KOH for his professionalism and support. He was highly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything to us clearly and patiently. When we were uncertain about some decisions, he provided thoughtful recommendations that ultimately worked out very well for us. Throughout the three days, he regularly checked on us, making sure everything was alright and that we were coping. My family and I are deeply grateful for the compassion and care shown to us during this difficult time. Here are some additional comments from my family members. The Regency Room exceeded our expectations. Its soothing pastel-coloured interior created a dignified and comforting environment for visitors to pay their respects. Many guests felt at ease and stayed longer to spend time with the family. The complimentary hot drinks machine and box of cakes were thoughtful gestures that were very much appreciated. The provision of a safe for condolence monetary gifts was also practical and reassuring. Additional chairs were promptly arranged upon request for the Memorial Service. The transition to Mandai Crematorium was smooth and well-coordinated. The staff, led by Aru, guided us professionally through every stage — from the photo-taking session before departure to the final service and cremation. The ash scattering session at the Garden of Peace was also conducted seamlessly, with clear guidance from Ben. We are grateful for the professionalism and care shown throughout.

Budget Casket Company does not publish a fixed price list publicly, and funeral service costs in Singapore vary considerably depending on the type of service, religion, wake duration, and casket selection. A basic civil or simple religious package typically starts from around S$2,000–4,000, while full traditional Chinese or Christian funeral packages with multi-day wakes can run S$6,000–15,000 or more once catering, floral arrangements, and cremation or burial fees are included. Key items to confirm in writing include: casket cost, venue and tentage hire, hearse and body-transfer fees, NEA cremation or burial charges (billed separately by NEA), and any religious officiant or catering costs. Ask whether GST is included in quoted prices. See the full funeral services cost guide for Singapore →
Budget Casket Company provides funeral services rather than ongoing care, so the live-in versus visit-based distinction does not apply here. Their scope covers the period from the passing of a loved one through to the conclusion of the funeral rites — including body transfer, wake logistics, casket provision, and coordination with NEA for cremation or burial. Families requiring longer-term support — such as grief counselling, estate administration, or post-funeral religious rites — will need to engage separate providers. If you are looking for eldercare support for a living family member, Budget Casket Company's category listing may not be the right match; contact them directly to confirm the full scope of services they provide.
Budget Casket Company is ACRA-registered and KakiList-verified. Funeral service providers in Singapore are not currently required to hold a dedicated industry-specific licence beyond standard business registration, though providers handling cremation and burial must coordinate with the National Environment Agency, which manages all crematoriums and cemeteries. No additional regulatory licences are listed for this provider. It is advisable to ask Budget Casket Company directly about their professional indemnity coverage and the qualifications of their funeral directors before engaging their services. Their 4.9-star rating across 931 Google reviews provides a strong signal of operational reliability.
