Our family is a big fan of the Shangri La brand! With no surprise, buds by Shangri La have lived up to the high standards. This year, we hosted our child’s birthday party @ buds and were so impressed by what buds had in store for us as hosts and our guests. The facilities were clean and well maintained, with proper crowd control which is not always the case for other similar facilities in Singapore. Service staff were seen on the ground supervising children to ensure safety and no foul play (note: each adult who accompanies one or more children is required to sign an indemnity form with buds before entering the premises). Special shoutout to Eva, Celest, Dhuran + Katrina (party assistants), Gwendoline, Girlie, Faz, Yu Heng, Rifqah, Putra, Jia Le and Areefa who have made our child’s birthday party such a special, successful experience. Most importantly, our guests (children + adults) had a wonderful time at buds by Shangri La! Thank you, team buds ❤️ Two thumbs up 👍👍
A playground that hasn't quite lived up to its former glory. Unfortunately, many of the play equipment (air guns, toddler music play, car ride etc) were broken or showed signs of neglect, which was a letdown. On the bright side, the staff and service were fantastic - friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about making the experience better for kids.
Buds by Shangri-La is fantastic! Staff were super helpful and flexible when my nephew was late. It's spacious, safe, and fun with music and art rooms. The kids' snack cafe was convenient. We had a great time and will definitely return!
Had a go at this place during our stay at Shang - which included a free 3 hour session. The place closes early at 6.30pm so plan your time accordingly. The little one loved it - many variations of slides and interactive nets for him to climb and fall comfortably into. Spacious place and overall feels less crowded than outside play areas. Very clean overall and staff were friendly and kid centric. Worth it.
Our first time to Buds by Shangri-La, last Saturday. I brought my 2 kids and my whole family to join. So much fun. Usually Indoor playground for kids, we adults will be staying outside to wait for them. But this round my whole family went in. Because their cafe inside the playground looks so cozy. I expect we will be sitting there for 3hrs chit chatting. But my dad, mom, husband and sis took turns exploring the playground. And we join muddy room art and craft activities hahaha. Such a lovely place, adults also like it. The cafe inside is also very nice. We had drinks and light snacks over there. The staff is so friendly and polite. I got to know a staff member named Girlie. Her name is so catchy, her smile is beautiful. A bit of regret, we have not enough time to go splash. But my sister and I went to check it out. Looks fun... I think next round I should staycation there so I have more time for kids to play both indoor and water park. And even play at Buds, you get complimentary tickets for parking. Don't forget to get the ticket from the counter at the buds.

Buds by Shangri-La has not publicly listed its session fees, so you will need to contact them directly for current pricing. For context, enrichment classes in Singapore typically range from S$30–80 per session for group formats and S$80–200 per session for one-to-one tuition, depending on the subject, level, and provider. Ask whether fees are charged per session, as part of a monthly package, or on a per-term basis. It is also worth confirming whether a trial class is available, what the cost of that trial is, and whether there are additional charges for materials or resources. Sibling discounts and multi-subject package rates are common in this category and worth enquiring about. See the full Enrichment Classes cost guide for Singapore →
Many enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or at the standard per-session rate, before asking families to commit to a full term. It is advisable to ask Buds by Shangri-La directly whether a trial is available and what it costs. When attending a trial, observe whether the pace and content are appropriate for your child's current level, whether the teaching style holds your child's attention, and whether the class size allows for adequate individual attention. A good trial class should give you a clear sense of the programme's structure and whether your child is engaged and comfortable in the environment. If a formal trial is not offered, ask whether you can observe a session or speak with a current parent before committing to a term.
Credential information for the instructors at Buds by Shangri-La is not publicly available in the current listing. Parents are encouraged to ask directly about the qualifications of the person who will be teaching their child — relevant details include whether instructors have an NIE or MOE teaching background, relevant degree qualifications, years of experience in the subject area, and familiarity with the specific syllabus their child follows (MOE, IB, IGCSE, or AP). For enrichment classes outside the mainstream academic syllabus — such as arts, music, or specialist programmes — ask about any professional certifications or industry experience the instructor holds. Checking that the instructor's background aligns with your child's learning goals is an important step before committing to a term.
