I just went to the Bras Basah Branch & served by Firdaus who I must say gave very good customer service & insights to the exact materials I needed. Special thanks to Glen Ho who also supported. Strongly recommended if require art materials
If you like DIY, Art and Crafts, having anything to do with art with your education/work, or just loving any kind of stationery, you must be familiar with this place. Paints, sketches, sewing, art projects, jewelries, model making, there are many great products and choices here. People I mention above can easily spend hours roaming through the aisles. The catch, most things are expensive. There are those reasonably price products here, but of course, it goes up with quality and variants. The staffs are mostly knowledgeable and helpful, so don't hesitate to ask them questions about products and where are the locations of things you are looking for. If you need many products from this store, getting its membership helps with the cost.
GREAT EXPERIENCE! Karri has helped me a lot during my purchase! I arrived just in time due to work reasons, about 10-12 minutes before closing, so I tried to find everything I needed quickly and head to the checkout to pay. After finishing the purchase, and even though I had already paid, Karri was super kind and thoughtful. She asked me which scale I needed for my scale ruler to make sure I had bought the right one. I told her I had grabbed the first one I saw so I wouldn’t be delayed, and she took me to the scale ruler aisle and helped me find the right one. She helped me with the exchange, even though it was close to closing time. Throughout the entire interaction, she was in an excellent mood and smiling. She seemed like a great professional and a wonderful person! It’s so nice to encounter professionals like that. I will always come back! Thank you, Karri! PS: The rest of the staff were very nice and helpful too, and the store had everything I needed, with plenty of options for each item.
poor customer service and organisation/misleading advertising. as shown in picture store was offering this discount but so happened to not work for 3 items i tried buying. was also told not allowed to mix items (e.g sketchbook + paints) tho never once stated in the buy 3 free 1 label (in fact as you can see label is clearly implying the opposite, that freely mixing is possible) these labels were placed on many items all throughout the store so obviously i was frustrated to be constantly told otherwise. assistant manager also has poor customer service as continued to perpetuate that my idea of the discount was wrong and didn’t once give even a slight apology. i could understand his fatigue since it was around closing time but i was asking politely and really expected more from art friend. will not be shopping here again sadly.
Thank you Chris at Plaza Singapura for being so helpful and attending to my enquiry about ordering more paper bags than what I could find at the store here, such that I can come back and pick up next week. She understands my enquiry and takes the initiative to call (may be the warehouse or may be the supplier) to check and make this happen! In contrast, when I went earlier to Bras Basah branch, the response I got was a lazy response. A group of 3 staff, one senior Malay guy, one young Chinese girl and one young Chinese guy were gathered around a counter nearer to the back area. When I asked them the same enquiry, i.e., if I could order more of the same paper bag, the senior guy’s response was ‘whatever is available is on the shelf’. He didn’t bother to even check. I had in the past ordered some paper bags in the same way before, which means, I found the stock at the store to be insufficient, and asked a staff’s help to order more for my collection on another day. So I kind of knew that a check could be made. The straight-off answer from the senior guy seems like an attempt to write off the trouble he may have to take. Hence I went over to Plaza Sing to try my luck. Thankfully I met Chris. Her positive attitude and helpfulness is much appreciated.

Busy Fingers Art has not publicly listed specific per-session rates, so fees should be confirmed directly. As a general guide, enrichment art classes in Singapore typically range from S$30–80 per session in a group setting, with one-to-one tuition running higher. Some providers charge a separate registration or materials fee, and term-based packages often work out more economical than casual drop-in rates. Ask whether a trial class is available and what it costs, and whether sibling discounts or multi-class bundles apply. Confirm if materials such as paints, canvases, or clay are included in the fee or billed separately. See the full enrichment classes cost guide for Singapore →
Many enrichment art providers in Singapore offer a trial class, either at a reduced fee or as part of a first-session arrangement, before you commit to a full term. This is a practical way to assess whether the pace, teaching style, and subject focus are a good fit for your child. During a trial, observe how engaged your child is, whether the instructor manages the group well, and whether the level feels appropriately challenging. A good trial class should give you a clear sense of the programme's structure and the instructor's approach before any financial commitment is made. Contact Busy Fingers Art directly via phone or their enquiry form to ask about current trial class availability and any associated cost.
Specific instructor credentials for Busy Fingers Art are not listed publicly. For an art enrichment provider, relevant qualifications to ask about include a degree or diploma in fine art, art education, or a related discipline, as well as any prior teaching experience in a school or studio setting. It is also worth asking whether instructors are familiar with the MOE art syllabus if your child is preparing for school-based assessments, or whether the programme is more exploratory and skills-based. Years of teaching experience and any specialist focus — such as watercolour, mixed media, or illustration — are useful points to clarify. Raise these questions directly with Busy Fingers Art before committing to a term.
