About Caleb Cheong Photography
Caleb Cheong Photography is a photography and videography service operating islandwide across Singapore, listed and verified by KakiList. The business holds a 4.9-star rating across 66 Google reviews, which represents a moderate and encouraging sample. Packages are offered at a mid-range price point, though exact fees depend on event type and scope.
Enquiries are best made via WhatsApp, phone, or the contact form on the listing, starting with your event date, venue, and headcount. For weddings, it is worth discussing whether you need coverage for the ROM solemnisation, morning gate-crash, tea ceremony, and banquet separately or as a combined package, and whether videography is offered alongside stills. For baby full-month or 100-day shoots and birthday parties, confirm the number of edited images, turnaround time, and whether a physical print product is included. A deposit of 30–50% is typical on signing to secure the date, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. Lead time matters — popular Saturdays in March, April, October, and November book out many months ahead for wedding coverage, while family celebrations and portrait sessions generally have shorter waiting periods. Ask about the travel charge for venues outside central Singapore and the wet-weather contingency if any portion of the shoot is planned outdoors.
To check availability and receive a package quote, reach out directly via WhatsApp or the contact form with your event date, venue, and a brief description of what you need covered.
Lock in the date with a written contract and deposit, confirm the public liability insurance and any HDB / condo / hotel venue paperwork, and put the deliverables, balance schedule, and rescheduling policy in writing.
Engaged Chris as my actual day wedding photographer and Daniel as actual day wedding videographer and my husband I are very pleased with their services. Our package also came with a complimentary pre wedding shoot of which we chose to have a casual one. Chris got to know us more during this time, so we were comfortable with each other during the actual day. Chris and Daniel were punctual, responsive, responsible and professional from the preparation up till the wedding day and even after. Will recommend to anyone looking for wedding photog/videographer!
If Chris is available, you have to book him!!!! I booked Chris to shoot my marriage proposal in Singapore. Chris helped me choose the ideal location that fit what I was looking for. He was very responsive throughout the planning process. On the day of, it was forecasted to rain which would have made the shoot really difficult. Chris monitored the situation throughout the day and we discussed back up plans. Luckily, the weather held up and we were able to move forward as planned. Chris was very detailed in his instructions and captured the moment flawlessly. After the proposal, we took more photos and Chris gave great direction on posing and composition. He chose such an incredibly location and took away a lot of the stress and nerves. I can’t recommend him enough!
Our actual day wedding photographer was Chris Chang, and the photos he took speak far beyond memories. They truly capture the moments as they happened. Every picture tells a story, a moment that I now carry in my heart. From the start of the engagement all the way to our actual day, everything went smoothly, and communication with him was always pleasant and easy. Words could not express how grateful we are for the way he captured every moment from the start of the day to the very end, including all the little moments we didn’t get to witness ourselves while changing outfits. And that i know , everyone had a very fun and enjoyable day, and we definitely glad the moment is not lost.
Couldnt imagine engaging any other photographer on our wedding day, Chris was very professional and experienced. He had 2 pre wedding consultations with us to find out more about what we want. The photos turned out amazing!!
Chris was my photographer and took my destination wedding photos in Edinburgh. Even though it was his first time at a new venue, he was still able to capture beautiful shots. All my friends and family complimented how gorgeous the photos were. He is also very experienced and very familiar with Singaporean wedding customs such as the Chinese tea ceremony. Chris is friendly in nature and easy to communicate with! Highly recommended!

Package pricing varies by event type and coverage duration. As a general guide, Singapore market rates for photography run from around S$2,500 to S$6,000 or more for a full wedding day, while videography packages typically start higher at S$3,000 to S$8,000 or above. Portrait sessions, family shoots, and baby milestone coverage are generally priced lower, often in the S$500 to S$1,500 range depending on duration and deliverables. Confirm what is included in each tier: hours of coverage, number of edited images or video length, turnaround time, an online gallery or USB delivery, and any travel charge for non-central venues. A deposit of roughly 30–50% is standard on signing, with the balance due one to two weeks before the event. GST may apply depending on the business's GST registration status — confirm this when requesting a quote. See the full Photography & Videography cost guide for Singapore →
For weddings, six to twelve months ahead is the norm for popular photographers — peak Saturdays in March, April, October, and November fill earliest, and a date is only secured once the deposit is paid and a contract is signed. If your wedding is in peak season, enquire as soon as the venue is confirmed. For baby full-month, 100-day, and birthday shoots, six to twelve weeks of lead time is generally sufficient, though in-demand slots around school holidays and long weekends can fill faster. Portrait and family sessions are typically more flexible and can often be arranged within two to four weeks. Confirm whether the date you want is still available before making any other vendor commitments that depend on the same day.
The deposit — typically 30–50% of the package total — secures the date and takes it off the market for other clients. It generally covers the planning and consultation time invested before the event. Deposits are usually non-refundable if the client cancels, though many photographers will allow a date transfer within a reasonable window if circumstances change. Confirm the rescheduling policy in writing before signing, particularly if any portion of the shoot is outdoors and weather is a risk. Ask what happens if a public-health restriction or force-majeure event affects the date — reputable vendors typically allow one rescheduling without forfeiting the deposit. Also ask about public liability insurance, especially if the shoot takes place at an HDB void deck, condo function room, or hotel venue where the venue manager may request a copy of the certificate.
