Families considering infant care placement are encouraged to enquire early about slot availability for their intended start month, as demand for infant care in Singapore frequently outpaces supply. When you reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine, and the settling-in period so your child can adjust at a comfortable pace. It is also worth discussing ECDA subsidy eligibility at the initial enquiry stage, particularly if your child holds Singapore citizenship, as this can meaningfully reduce the monthly outlay.
As a concrete next step, contact Cambridge Childcare directly through WhatsApp or the enquiry form to check current infant care slot availability for your intended start month, and request a centre visit to meet the caregiving team before making any commitment.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

We have been with Cambridge River Valley for over two years, and it has truly been the best decision we’ve made for our daughter. From day one, the school has felt warm, nurturing, and full of positive energy. The children are genuinely happy to be there, and the overall vibe of the school is amazing. The teachers are exceptional. We are incredibly grateful to Jing Wen Laoshi, Teacher Munis, Teacher Jen, Tong Laoshi, and Zeng Laoshi, and Principal Jo for their care, patience, and dedication. They have made such a meaningful impact on the children’s growth and confidence. There are so many things we love about the school: 1. Enrichment classes during school days – The school offers a wide variety of enrichment programs that allow children to explore different interests. Each semester includes performance showings, which is a wonderful way for parents to see the children’s progress and confidence grow. 2. True bilingual (and sometimes trilingual) environment – The exposure to Chinese, English, and even Japanese at such an early age is incredible. It feels very natural and immersive, and the kids pick up languages so easily. 3. Strong family and community values – The school warmly welcomes parent participation and organizes meaningful events such as Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and Grandparents’ Day. They truly value family involvement and celebrate all religions and cultures, making it a very diverse and inclusive environment. 4. Thoughtful STEAM curriculum – The STEAM program introduces important concepts in age-appropriate ways, helping children develop holistically—academically, creatively, and socially. We are so thankful to be part of the Cambridge River Valley community. ❤️
Cambridge@River Valley is amazing! The teachers are absolutely wonderful, and we feel so lucky to have found such a caring team. We are especially grateful to Qian Ping Laoshi, Teacher Skye, Tong Laoshi, Teacher Jenn, Zeng Laoshi, Jing Wen Laoshi, Teacher Munis and Wu Laoshi. There are also great support from Japanese teachers(Megumi Sensei and Akira Sensei), which give them a lot of peace of mind. We really appreciate that they teach the children a lot about Japanese culture and manners as well. It means so much to us and is a huge help. It’s truly a great support for Japanese expatriate families too. We truly recommend this school. Our children love it so much that they even want to go on their days off, and seeing how happy they are makes us happy as parents too.
We chose this school based on a recommendation from a trusted acquaintance, and it has truly been a wonderful choice over the past few years. From the toddler class through K2, the teachers have always been warm, caring, and genuinely happy to see our son grow and develop. The school has a welcoming, home-like atmosphere, and the enrichment programs are diverse and engaging. We especially appreciate how children are naturally immersed in English, Chinese, and Japanese language, as well as a diverse range of cultures, in a very supportive environment. We are truly grateful for the care and education our son has received here.
Cambridge Robertson Preschool has been an absolute blessing for our family! From the moment we walked in year 2018 for a tour, we felt a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The facilities are bright, clean, and well-equipped, creating a stimulating STEM environment for learning and play. But what truly sets this preschool apart is the incredible team of educators, and in particular, our child's teacher, Teacher Joy Teacher Joy is simply amazing. She has a genuine passion for teaching and a remarkable ability to connect with each child on an individual level. Our child, Rykeer joined during playgroup and has blossomed from his Nursery to Kindergarten years under all the wonderful Teachers(Zhao Lao Shi, Li Lao Shi, Zeng Lao Shi , Aunty Li, Senseis, Principal Mas and Principal Ria) as well as admin staff Celeste. As a seasoned educator for 25 years, Teacher Joy's patience, understanding, and gentle encouragement completely transformed my child. She fostered a love of learning in everyone, and helped them develop confidence and social skills that we never thought possible. We've seen such a positive change in my child's personality and enthusiasm for going to school. **Fun fact, my child at 18 months since Day 1 of Cambridge Robertson has never once cried when we dropped him off to school, in fact when we pick him up, he never wants to leave! 😄** We are so grateful for Teacher Joy's dedication and the positive impact she has had on our child's growing years. She is truly a gifted educator, and we feel so fortunate to have had her as part of our child's early education. Cambridge Robertson Preschool, has laid a strong foundation for Rykeer's future success. We highly recommend this preschool to any family looking for a nurturing and enriching learning environment. One thing to highlight also is; they celebrate a myriad of festivals and it has taught my child so much about different cultures and races! You name it they celebrate it, my child is dressed up for Halloween, Deepavali, Mid Autumn Festival, Hari Raya and so much more! Also the friendships that were forged continues even after we graduated, even among the parents, its amazing! Grateful from the bottom of our hearts!
It has been two and a half years since my son started attending this school, and he is really looking forward to going to school every day. It's a very homely school where the entire school feels like a family. All the teachers are passionate about teaching and care about their students. Over the past year, he has been indebted to Teacher Skye, Qian Ping Laoshi and Wu Laoshi. We're very grateful to them for their patience with our son no matter what. I highly recommend this school!

Cambridge Childcare operates on a monthly recurring fee structure, priced at the mid-range tier ($$) for infant care in Singapore. Beyond the headline monthly fee, families should ask about the one-time registration fee, a deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees), and any charges for uniforms or group insurance cover. It is worth confirming these figures directly with the centre, as they can vary. Childcare and infant care fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the monthly amount quoted should reflect the full cost without an added tax component. Singapore citizen children enrolled in licensed infant care centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy of up to S$600 per month. Working mothers who clock at least 56 hours of work per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Development Subsidy, which provides further monthly relief. Families with household incomes below certain thresholds may also be eligible for the Additional Subsidy, which can bring combined support to up to S$710 per month depending on income tier. Permanent Resident children receive partial subsidies at lower quantum levels. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically by ECDA, so it is advisable to check the ECDA website directly for the most current figures before making enrolment decisions. Cambridge Childcare's admissions team should also be able to guide you through the subsidy application process at the point of registration.
Infant care places in Singapore are in high demand, and it is common for popular centres to have waitlists stretching three to twelve months ahead of a child's intended start date. January is typically the peak intake month, so families planning a start at the beginning of the year are advised to enquire particularly early. Even for mid-year intakes, contacting a centre three to six months in advance is a sensible approach. To secure a place at Cambridge Childcare, enquire directly about current availability and ask what steps are needed to register your interest — this often involves a registration fee and deposit. Reach out via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form to get an accurate picture of waiting times for your preferred start month.
