About Canossaville EIPIC

About Canossaville EIPIC

Canossaville EIPIC is a special needs early intervention centre serving families across Singapore, operating from its premises at 1 Sallim Road. The centre is verified by KakiList, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a Google rating of 4.3 out of 5 across 29 reviews — a modest sample size, so treat this as directional rather than definitive. Monthly fees are listed at the $$ price point; contact the centre directly to confirm the exact figure as well as any applicable subsidies.

Families typically begin by gathering a diagnostic report from a developmental paediatrician, psychologist, or MOE Psychological Service, as this is required before a child can be considered for placement. Once documentation is in order, parents are encouraged to contact Canossaville EIPIC to discuss whether the centre's programme is suited to their child's specific profile — whether that involves autism spectrum disorder, global developmental delay, or another condition requiring early intervention. An intake assessment or observation visit is standard practice, allowing the education and therapy team to confirm fit. EIPIC programmes typically integrate speech therapy, occupational therapy, and other allied health supports into the daily schedule, with low staff-to-child ratios to ensure close attention.

To take the next step, contact Canossaville EIPIC by phone or through the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current availability, the intake assessment process, and fee details. Listing data is incomplete — contact Canossaville EIPIC directly to confirm details.

What reviewers say about Canossaville EIPIC

Summary based on 29 Google reviews.

Canossaville EIPIC shows mixed experiences in student development and institutional priorities. One parent documented significant personal growth in their daughter over years of enrollment, praising the school's nurturing approach. However, another reviewer expressed concern that operational efficiency has replaced the school's foundational philosophy, suggesting recent shifts toward commercialization. Staff interactions appear inconsistent, with some security personnel being unhelpful while others provided constructive guidance.

The Canossian Spirit and Philosophy are no longer around. Things are all commercialised, and rules are set to make things easy for the operational staff. No longer for the good of the students. Very sad to see how the centre is now.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Canossaville EIPIC charge per month?

Canossaville EIPIC lists its fees at the $$ price point, but an exact monthly figure is not publicly confirmed — parents should contact the centre directly to obtain current fee schedules. For context, EIPIC centres in Singapore generally fall in the S$150–800 per month range, with fees often subject to income-tested means testing that can reduce the amount payable substantially. MOE-gazetted SPED schools charge Singapore Citizens a subsidised flat fee of around S$150 per month. Private special needs schools operate at a different level, typically S$1,500–4,000 or more per month. Potential extras to ask about include therapy top-up sessions, transport shuttle arrangements, diagnostic assessment fees at partner clinics, and school materials. Fees at NCSS-affiliated and MOE-gazetted institutions are generally GST-exempt. See the full special needs school cost guide for Singapore →

What subsidies and funding can I claim at Canossaville EIPIC?

For EIPIC centres, ECDA administers an Additional Subsidy that is income-tested and can bring monthly fees down significantly for eligible Singapore Citizen families. NCSS-administered means-tested financial assistance may also be available through the centre's social worker, and is worth asking about during the intake process. SG Enable offers several relevant schemes, including the Assistive Technology Fund for devices and equipment, as well as support pathways for older children transitioning to vocational training. Where therapy components are delivered at approved clinics, MediSave may partially offset those costs. Importantly, the Basic Childcare Subsidy and Working Mother Subsidy that apply to mainstream childcare do not extend to EIPIC or special needs school placements. Funding quantum and eligibility criteria change periodically — parents should confirm current figures directly with MOE's Special Education Branch and SG Enable before making financial decisions.

How do I secure a place at Canossaville EIPIC?

The starting point is a formal diagnostic report from a developmental paediatrician, psychologist, or MOE Psychological Service. Without this documentation, placement at an EIPIC centre or SPED school cannot proceed, so obtaining the assessment early is essential. For EIPIC centres such as Canossaville, applications are made directly to the provider rather than through a centralised MOE placement process (which applies to MOE-gazetted SPED schools). That said, waiting lists can still extend to several months depending on current enrolment and the availability of places suited to a child's specific needs profile. Expect an intake assessment or observation visit as part of the process so the team can confirm the programme is an appropriate fit. Parents are strongly advised to begin the referral and application process as early as possible, and to keep a second-choice option in mind while awaiting confirmation. Contact Canossaville EIPIC directly by phone or via the enquiry form to ask about current availability.
