About Carpe Diem Preschool
Carpe Diem Preschool is a KakiList-verified, ACRA-registered preschool and kindergarten located at Marine Parade Central in the East of Singapore. Families considering Carpe Diem Preschool are encouraged to enquire about available slots for their intended start month as early as possible, particularly for infant care places, which tend to fill quickly at well-regarded centres. When you make contact — either by phone or through the enquiry form — it is worth asking about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine and curriculum approach, and the settling-in period offered to new children. You should also confirm which ECDA subsidies your child may be eligible for, as Singapore citizen children attending a licensed centre can access both the Basic Subsidy and, where applicable, the Additional Subsidy.
The most useful next step is to reach out directly via the phone number or enquiry form listed on this page to check current vacancy, arrange a centre visit, and request the full fee schedule before making any commitment.
Visit the centre in person, meet the lead teacher, and read the parent contract before signing.

Carpe Diem has been an absolutely fantastic environment for my daughter over the past year. Having just completed the infant care program, I feel compelled to share my profound gratitude for the teachers and the entire team led by Ms Shannon. Their level of thoroughness and dedication is truly exceptional. Every teacher showed incredible patience, consistent communication, and genuine affection, making the transition so smooth for both baby and parents. Knowing that my daughter was receiving such meticulous and heartfelt care gave me immense peace of mind. Thank you to the incredible team!
As my son graduates from preschool, I really wanted to share how much Carpe Diem has meant to our family. One of the first things we noticed was the culture. Kids from different classes and levels all know each other, and there’s such a strong sense of familiarity and warmth throughout the whole school. It’s a place where everyone feels connected and welcomed. The teachers are honestly amazing. They’re so kind, patient, and understanding, and they take care of the kids like they’re their own. My son has never once said he didn’t want to go to school. In fact, even on days we stayed home, he would ask when we could go back because he missed his friends and his teachers. From the day he enrolled, he has looked forward to school every single day and as a parent, that means everything to me. I still remember how quickly he settled in when he first started. He got used to the environment and the people so fast, which really shows how safe and comfortable Carpe Diem makes the kids feel. We loved Carpe Diem so much that we recommended it to a close friend, and their child joined the school too. Unfortunately, when their family moved further away, they had to switch schools due to distance and they shared how difficult it was to find another place that felt even remotely like Carpe Diem. I think that says a lot about the level of care, culture, and support Carpe Diem provides, not just for the kids but for parents as well. Thank you so much to the entire Carpe Diem team, Miss Shannon, Teacher Feeqa, Teacher Chen, TeacherLee for loving, caring for, and guiding our son through these years. While he might not be the easiest, we’re beyond grateful for all the memories, friendships, and love he’s experienced here. Truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💛
As a parent, choosing the right childcare is never easy. I walked around and visited many childcare centres in the area, compared programs, environments, and spoke to different teachers. After much consideration, I decided to give Carpe Diem Childcare @ Parkway a try now that they have graduated, I can say with full confidence that there are absolutely no regrets. Both my daughters studied here, one graduated in 2024 and the other in 2025. This place has truly become a second home for them. Compared to other childcare centres, Carpe Diem is genuinely value for money, not just because of the curriculum, but because of the people. From Principal Miss Shannon, to the wonderful chinese teachers 李老师, 陈老师, Teacher Regina, Teacher Feeqa, Teacher Amelia, and Teacher Lynn, every one of them treats the children with patience, love, and genuine care. The aunty (special mention) is also incredibly kind and my children still talk about her and miss her very much. What touched me the most is the trust I had in the team. I could send my children to school with peace of mind, knowing they were safe, well cared for, and happy. Over the years, I’ve seen my children grow not just academically, but emotionally and socially as well. Even though I had to wait one month just to get a slot, it was completely worth it. Thank you, Carpe Diem, for taking such good care of my girls and giving us such precious memories. I would highly recommend this centre to any parent who is looking for a childcare they can truly trust. Keep going Team Marine Parade! 💓💕
A big thank you to Ms Shannon and all the infant care teachers at Carpe Diem Parkway. We are appreciative of all the love and care shown to my child especially in a safe and nurturing environment. Thank you!
We are truly grateful to Carpe Diem Childcare @ Parkway for creating such a warm and nurturing space for our child. When he first joined the PG class, he was just starting out, and within a month, we saw a big transformation. He began dancing to songs, recognizing animals and alphabets, and even speaking more! He absolutely adores his teachers, Teacher Regina and Fan Laoshi, and it shows—every day at pick-up, he would come out of the classroom with a big grin. The school’s diverse activities, from classroom play to art and craft to cooking classes, make learning engaging and fun. As parents, nothing means more than seeing our child happy and enjoy learning in a safe, loving environment. We are incredibly thankful to the dedicated teachers for making his first learning experience so special!

Carpe Diem Preschool is priced in the mid-range ($$) for Singapore preschools and kindergartens, though a precise monthly fee figure is not publicly listed. When you enquire, ask for the full fee breakdown, which typically includes a one-time registration fee, a refundable deposit of around one to two months' fees, and charges for uniform and personal accident insurance. Childcare and kindergarten fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so the monthly amount quoted should be the amount you pay. Fees can vary by age group and programme type, so confirm the rate applicable to your child's age. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children attending an ECDA-licensed childcare centre may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. Working mothers who clock 56 hours or more of work per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Subsidy. For lower-income families, the Additional Subsidy can bring total combined support up to S$710 per month, subject to household income testing. Families using a kindergarten programme may enquire about the KiFAS (Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme). Permanent residents are eligible for partial subsidies only. Subsidy amounts and eligibility criteria are reviewed periodically, so visit the ECDA website directly for the most current figures before making enrolment decisions.
Popular preschools and kindergartens in Singapore often fill their places three to twelve months ahead of the intended start date, with infant care vacancies typically the most competitive. January is the peak intake month for most centres, so families hoping to start at the beginning of the school year should enquire well before then. To secure a place, most centres require payment of a registration fee and a deposit once an offer is made. Contact Carpe Diem Preschool directly by phone or through the enquiry form to ask about current availability for your child's age group and preferred start month, as waitlist positions can change quickly.
