About "Changemakers Explorer"
Changemakers Explorer is a preschool and kindergarten provider operating islandwide from its centre at Parkway Parade, Marine Parade. It is verified by KakiList, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact information. The centre holds a 5-out-of-5 rating on Google, though this is based on 9 reviews — a small sample that should be treated as directional rather than conclusive. Fees are positioned in the mid-range tier for Singapore preschools.
Families looking to secure a place should begin by enquiring about slot availability for their intended start month, as popular centres — particularly those offering infant care — can fill up well in advance. When you contact Changemakers Explorer, ask about the infant-to-caregiver ratio, the daily routine and curriculum philosophy, and the settling-in period for children who are transitioning to a centre environment for the first time. It is also worth discussing whether the centre is eligible for ECDA subsidies, which can meaningfully reduce monthly fees for Singapore citizen children depending on household income and the mother's working status.
To take the next step, reach out to Changemakers Explorer via phone or the online enquiry form to ask about current vacancies for your child's age group and to arrange a centre visit before committing.

Changemakers Explorer displays a mid-range price point for its preschool and kindergarten programmes. Specific monthly fee figures are not published on this listing, so you should contact the centre directly to obtain a current fee schedule. Beyond the monthly tuition fee, ask about the one-time registration fee, the deposit (typically equivalent to one to two months' fees, refundable on exit), and any additional charges for uniforms, insurance, or enrichment activities. Childcare and kindergarten fees are GST-exempt in Singapore, so the quoted fee should be the full amount you pay. See the full childcare cost guide for Singapore →
Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed childcare centres may be eligible for the Basic Subsidy — up to S$600 per month for infant care and up to S$300 per month for childcare. Mothers who are employed, self-employed, or studying for at least 56 hours per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMS). Lower-income families may receive the Additional Subsidy, which is income-tested and can bring the combined subsidy to up to S$710 per month. For kindergartens, the KiFAS (Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme) provides means-tested fee assistance at eligible operators. Permanent resident children may qualify for partial subsidies. Subsidy amounts are reviewed periodically — visit the ECDA website for the most current figures and to confirm whether Changemakers Explorer is an approved operator for subsidy purposes.
Waitlists at well-regarded preschools and kindergartens in Singapore are common, and families are generally advised to enquire three to twelve months ahead of their intended start date. Infant care places in particular tend to be in high demand and can be fully booked many months in advance. The January intake is typically the busiest period, as it aligns with the start of the school year. To secure a place at Changemakers Explorer, contact the centre via phone or the enquiry form to check current availability for your child's age group. Centres usually ask for a registration fee and a deposit to confirm enrolment once a slot is offered. Contacting them early gives you the best chance of obtaining your preferred start month.
