About Changi General Hospital

Changi General Hospital (CGH) is an academic medical institution caring for over 1 million people in Singapore. A tertiary referral centre with 1,000 beds, CGH is committed to medical research and education, clinical innovation and care for patients.

Most enquiries to Changi General Hospital involve Psychiatry. The operator works directly with homeowners, which means you deal with the same contact through quote, scheduling, and job completion rather than being handed off.

Changi General Hospital covers all of Singapore, which is useful if you live in a less-central estate or need a provider that can follow a recurring job to different addresses. The business is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channel. Google reviewers currently give Changi General Hospital an average of 2.7/5 across 1162 reviews, which is a reasonable signal of consistency for a healthcare provider.

The practical way to decide on Changi General Hospital is to message them directly with a short job description, property type, and any relevant photos. Direct contact means no platform middleman and usually a faster response than form-based lead submissions.

The majority of the reviews here are unfortunately accurate. The service at this hospital is atrocious. The staff often take no responsibility for their inability to perform their work properly. An example of this is how they had incorrectly applied a bandage, took an x tray. I understand this is a teaching institution, however, the supervisors and management have to take the onus of ensuring the subordinate and trainees are indeed performing their job properly. Furthermore, the wait time for a scheduled appointment is more than 90 minutes past the allocated time, which makes me think how inefficient the staff are at being time conscious. Management needs to have better controls to ensure the SOPs are met. These make me wonder how this hospital is promoting its recent ‘awards’. Perhaps just a PR stunt to take away from the actual negative experience from the patient stakeholders. Do not recommend this hospital at all. Please do better.

I had to visit A&E unexpectedly and was very impressed by the efficiency and professionalism of the team. From admission through investigations and final review, the process was smooth and well coordinated. The nurses were patient and attentive, and the doctor took time to explain the findings clearly, which was very reassuring. I am grateful for the prompt care and the calm manner in which everything was handled. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent service.

My experience with Changi General Hospital has generally been pleasant across the Emergency Department, specialist clinics, and other wards. However, Ward 57 in the Integrated Building (IB) has unfortunately been a very different experience. Service in this ward has been slow and coordination appears to be poor. There were several occasions where instructions or arrangements made by specialists were not carried out by ward nurses, and updates to patients or family members were often lacking. This created unnecessary stress for family members who are trying to ensure their loved ones receive proper care. From my observation, some of the nurses in this ward seemed impatient and disengaged while attending to patients and communicating with family members. Compassion and clear communication are extremely important in a hospital setting, especially for families already going through a difficult time. I also overheard another patient’s family member expressing similar concerns about the lack of patience and empathy shown by some staff. It suggests that this may not be an isolated experience. I truly hope the hospital management will look into the service standards and coordination within Ward 57, as my overall experience with CGH outside of this ward has been much better. Patients and families deserve consistent care, professionalism, and clear communication across all wards.

I had been a patient of CGH since I was 20. Now after almost 30 years I must say that CGH has improved tremendously. Their service is just beyond expectation where you can see their passion in prioritising patient’s health and holistic wellbeing. CGH has truly make a big difference and by far the best in their service. I am proud to be an east sider knowing that we have a reliable healthcare provider for our community. Well done CGH!! Everyone of you plays a part to create this strong Team, Kudos!!!

Visited Changi General Hospital on 9th Feb 2026 at 4.30pm - Hearing Aid (2B EHN) I am extremely grateful to the audiologist, Dr Savitha Kamath at the Changi General Hospital who went above and beyond to help me with my damaged hearing aid. Despite a busy schedule and past working hours, she ensured I received a new set and explained its use thoroughly. Her kindness and dedication are a testament to the excellent care at CGH. Highly recommend! 👍
