Priscilla is a truly great listener. Even though my sharing was brief, I was able to feel genuinely seen and heard by her, without judgment. Very quickly too, she was able to get to the root of the various challenges I had and summarise the core issue tying them together. This provided me radically fresh insight and motivated me to find a new path forward. From before the actual appointment to the follow up, she was checking in with me at various steps along the way, taking great care to ensure that our session went very smoothly and productively. I'm currently undergoing group supervision by Priscilla as part of my reflective learning process as a counsellor in community social services. We didn't discuss in-depth about therapeutic theories, modalities and techniques. What I brought out of the session was a new way of looking at the people I work with. I had never met any of the group in-person but somehow, everyone seemed to feel safe enough to share about their experiences at work - topics that can be quite emotionally vulnerable for our profession - and take something away from it. In light of how Priscilla positions herself as a supervisor, she clearly walks her talk as a professional.
