A tranquil spot where I felt at ease and pampered. My masseuse May was wonderful. Checked in with me about pressure, room temperature and music - enough to ensure I was comfortable but not so often it was intrusive. Excellent massage. And the massage tables are the most comfy I’ve ever experienced! Soft, warm and for when you’re lying face-up, can adjust to have you sitting slightly up with your knees slightly up too. All makes for a great experience.
Bought the wellness journey with my partner and the massage was good, not the best but it was good, service is excellent. Place is well maintained and the overall experience is excellent as well. I do wish the massage was a better given the price that we’re paying for. Our package was from Klook so it came with the dining experience at the waterfall cafe? Can’t rmb the exact name of it the food wise was terrible. But for the overall service of Chi, I highly recommend it (:
I have been coming to Chi on a monthly basis and had signature chi massage on every visit. The service experience and massage standard dropped with every visit including massage technique, customer draping, pre massage n post massage service. I have nothing against the massage therapist who was extremely pleasant and polite yesterday but she needs more training before attending to clients. The massage was jittery and lack of consistency and confidence. Those who regularly do massages especially Chi Signature massage can tell the difference and ultimately it will not reflect well on the spa. The bed warmer was also not working. Pre massage tea was cold. There wasn't any post massage care advice either. Overall, it was a disappointing experience. When i feedback to the receptionist, I was told the massage therapist is new. I was told Chi has a standard training protocol, please ensure trainings are adequate and that the therapists are confident enough to manage clients and are familiar with the work processes before arranging for them to serve clients. They carry your brand.
Nice cosy spa environment with top service staff. Cleanliness of space is good. Booking advance is highly recommended. Comes with free compliment car park if uses the massage services. Tried their deep tissue massage and was really releasing all tension
The new Obagi Medical facial is so good. The therapist did a professional analysis of my skin and then recommended one that meets the needs of my skin. The results were instantenous. It's amazing.

CHI The Spa Shangri-La Singapore is priced in the mid-to-upper range typical of a hotel spa, though specific per-session rates were not publicly available at the time of this listing. Hotel spas in Singapore generally charge S$150–400 per treatment session depending on duration and modality, with first-time consultation or intake steps sometimes included in the booking. Confirm the full rate directly — including any package options, membership pricing, or promotional offers — as well as the cancellation and no-show policy before booking. Ask whether a service charge or GST applies on top of the quoted rate, as hotel-based facilities typically add both. See the full holistic wellness cost guide for Singapore →
No referral is required to book at CHI The Spa Shangri-La Singapore. Most holistic spa treatments begin with a short intake conversation or consultation at the start of your appointment, where the therapist discusses your wellness goals, any physical contraindications (such as recent surgery, pregnancy, or specific medical conditions), and preferred pressure or technique. For guests with chronic conditions, injuries, or specific health concerns, it is advisable to inform the spa when booking so the right treatment can be recommended. If you intend to claim the cost through an insurance plan, check whether your insurer requires a GP referral for complementary or holistic therapies, as coverage for spa treatments varies widely.
Holistic spa therapists in Singapore are not subject to a single statutory licensing board in the way that physiotherapists (AHPC) or TCM practitioners (TCMPB) are. However, reputable hotel spas typically employ trained therapists with recognised certifications in their respective modalities — such as massage therapy, aromatherapy, or body treatments — and maintain internal quality standards. CHI The Spa Shangri-La Singapore did not list specific regulatory licences in this directory at the time of publication. Before your appointment, ask directly about the lead therapist's qualifications and training background, particularly if you are seeking treatment for a specific condition rather than general relaxation. Confirm the practitioner's credentials match your therapeutic needs before committing to a package.
