Parents enquiring about CMA Mental Arithmetic should clarify the level and syllabus fit for their child before committing. Mental arithmetic programmes typically progress through structured levels, so it is worth confirming which level your child would enter and how that assessment is conducted. Ask whether classes are run in small groups or one-to-one, what the term commitment looks like, and whether a trial class is available before signing up. It is also worth confirming whether the programme is delivered in person at the City Square Mall centre or whether any online options exist, particularly if location is a consideration.
To take the next step, contact CMA Mental Arithmetic directly via phone or the enquiry form on their listing to ask about current class availability, the appropriate entry level for your child, and trial class arrangements before committing to a term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.

I currently go to Cma farrer park as a student and I think its a very great way to keep ones mind sharp and great for younger children to learn excel at basic mental sums. I recommend this place for younger children but there is no harm in going when you are slightly older to learn mental sums which can be very convinient in school

CMA Mental Arithmetic lists its pricing at the mid-range ($$) tier, but specific per-session or monthly fee figures are not publicly available. Mental arithmetic enrichment classes in Singapore typically range from S$30–60 per session for group classes, with monthly packages often working out more economical than pay-per-session rates. Some providers charge separately for materials or workbooks, and a trial class fee may apply. It is worth asking directly about sibling discounts, term-bundle pricing, and what happens to fees during school holidays. Confirm whether the quoted rate covers all materials before committing. Many mental arithmetic enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class — sometimes at a reduced fee or as part of the enrolment process — so it is reasonable to ask CMA Mental Arithmetic whether this is available before signing up for a full term. A trial class is a useful opportunity to assess whether the pace and teaching style suit your child, whether the level placement feels appropriate, and whether your child stays engaged throughout the session. Observe how the instructor manages the class and handles children who need more time. Contact CMA Mental Arithmetic directly via phone or their enquiry form to ask about trial class availability and any associated cost.
Specific tutor credentials are not listed publicly for CMA Mental Arithmetic. For a structured mental arithmetic programme, it is reasonable to ask whether instructors have formal training in the CMA methodology, any teaching background, and how long they have been delivering the programme. While a formal NIE or MOE teaching qualification is not a requirement for enrichment providers, experience with the specific syllabus and familiarity with the age group matter. Ask directly when enquiring about enrolment. If the programme aligns with school-level numeracy goals, also confirm how the curriculum maps to MOE mathematics expectations for your child's year group.
