Families considering Coding Lab Singapore would typically begin by enquiring about the appropriate level and syllabus fit for their child's age and prior experience. It is worth asking whether classes are available in a group or one-to-one format, and whether sessions can be attended in person at the Parkway Parade centre in Marine Parade or online. Prospective students are encouraged to ask about a trial class before committing to a term, and to clarify what any term commitment entails in terms of duration, make-up lessons, and cancellation terms. Materials or equipment requirements, if any, are also worth confirming at the outset.
To take the next step, reach out to Coding Lab Singapore via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to ask about current class schedules, available levels, and trial class availability at the Marine Parade centre.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
My child is very excited with the 5-day Python Holiday courses conducted by Jerica and Amirah on Dec 2025. The teachers are fun and my child enjoys a lot with Python coding and definitely will come back to learn more coding skills.😊
My 8 year old had a great set of coding classes at Coding Lab's Parkway Parade location. The office was easy to find, clean, quiet & very well equipped. He learned a good deal, was excited about the class material, the material was well & logically organized & they make the learning process fun. My son was also fortunate enough to get a one-on-one lesson! We highly recommend the Coding Lab to any family.
Highly Recommend for Young Coders I enrolled my 9-year-old son in the Junior Python Holiday Workshop with some initial hesitation – could he really sit through 3.5-hour sessions for 5 consecutive days? My concerns were completely unfounded from Day 1. Every single day, he came home with a huge smile, bubbling with excitement about what he’d learned. The highlight was undoubtedly Teacher James, who made the lessons incredibly engaging and fun. My son absolutely loved the classes and is now constantly asking for more coding! This workshop is perfect for kids new to coding. It sparked a genuine interest and confidence in my child. Highly recommend for any parent looking to introduce their child to programming in a supportive and enjoyable way. One suggestion for the center: While the current learning path leads into App Inventor, as a parent, I’d love to see more diverse continuation options (like further Python, game development, web basics, or robotics). Many kids, mine included, are already very exposed to phones and apps; having non-app-focused pathways would be a welcome alternative for parents cautious about deepening that exposure. Overall, a fantastic experience! Thank you, Teacher James and the team!
My daughter started coding lab at Sec 4 term 2. She was at C6 level. Just gotten her computing result and she achieved A2! Thank you Coding lab!
My son absolutely loved coding classes with teacher Daphne. The content was presented in a very clear and easy to understand way for beginners, and he really enjoyed the classes. He was very happy to go into class each day of the Scratch 1 camp. We signed up straight away for the second stage, Scratch 2, every Saturday. The Parkway Parade mall is really good and has lots of great shops for parents to hang out in while you're waiting! Photo below is my younger son complaining that he is too young to join the class too :D

Many coding enrichment providers in Singapore offer a trial class so that parents and children can assess fit before committing to a full term. A trial session typically covers a self-contained activity and gives a good sense of the teaching pace, the complexity of the material, and how the instructor engages with the age group. When attending a trial, observe whether the content level is appropriate for your child, whether the class size allows for sufficient individual attention, and whether your child sustains engagement throughout. It is also a practical opportunity to ask about the curriculum structure, progression milestones, and what happens if your child needs to move up or down a level mid-term. Contact Coding Lab Singapore to confirm whether a trial class is available, what it costs, and how to book one.
Specific tutor credentials for Coding Lab Singapore are not listed in the publicly available information. For a coding enrichment provider, relevant qualifications to ask about include a background in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, as well as experience teaching children of the relevant age group. It is also worth asking whether instructors are familiar with the specific programming languages or platforms used in the curriculum — such as Scratch, Python, or JavaScript — and whether the syllabus is aligned to any recognised framework, such as the MOE computing curriculum or internationally recognised coding certifications. Reach out to Coding Lab Singapore directly and ask to speak with or receive a profile of the instructor who would be teaching your child's class before committing to a term.
