I would not recommend taking any courses or seeking supervision from Tony Ong. This place looked professional, but honestly, quite disappointed. Tony humblebrags about his achievements and experience, but really don't know for what. He has a lot of trumpet to blow, but when it comes to actually understanding issues and giving proper guidance, really cannot make it. Conversations feel very fake, like just trying to sound impressive rather than actually helping. Sometimes even downright condescending. Saw his profile say being here gives him the opportunity to live a meaningful life by touching the lives of others. Feels more like he's just boosting his own fake image. A bit mean-spirited about clients and other practitioners also. If this is the best this centre can do for clinical director, then I really wonder about the whole centre. Don't think I will recommend this place to anyone looking for non-judgemental and real support.

I was to attend Counselling with my son and daughter in law I was told that counselling will be futile if there is no common grounds The councillor identified a common ground and arrange for counseling via Zoom when I believe that is is no longer a health requirements. I believe that this was because of my estranged son suggestion supposed to be for the sake of my safety. The councillor also suggest I should allow my son and daughter to make decisions for their son. This is suggesting that I had infringed on their parental authority. He also suggest that I work with the parents to send their son to IMH for them. I had refused because my grandson was faring poorly with Neurosciece Clinic at NUH.
