Our journey with Gaia started when I asked for recommendations for pet therapy, and almost everyone (who didn’t know each other) mentioned Gaia. It has been 4 years since we first went for an evaluation, and my dog’s quality of life has only continued to improve with the various therapy modalities they offer. Karen and Chris, together with their wonderful team, have shown the warmest care. Treatments are always tailored to my dog’s conditions, and they played a big role in helping him regain his strength after major operations through a thoughtful combination of veterinary knowledge and professional expertise in rehabilitation. What I also appreciate is that Gaia shares “therapy homework,” so pawrents can continue working on improving their pets’ conditions beyond the therapy sessions. They are always happy to help with any questions I have outside of appointments. The environment and people are always animal-centered, making every visit reassuring and stress-free. My dog and I highly recommend Gaia to everyone looking to improve your furkids’ quality of life.

Gaia Wholistic Animal Wellness has an amazing team of incredibly dedicated and passionate professionals, and I will always recommend them to my friends. I got to know Gaia Wellness after my dog, Happy, was diagnosed with stage 1 cervical IVDD. She recovered from that episode with strict crate rest and medication, and I had already been researching physiotherapy options when a friend introduced me to Gaia Wellness. I booked an assessment appointment, with about a three-week wait. Unfortunately, on the day of the assessment, Happy had another IVDD episode, this time much more serious than the first. I called Gaia Wellness to explain the situation and was initially advised to crate rest again and reschedule the appointment. I was feeling extremely helpless as Happy was clearly in pain, and I told Karen that I was planning to bring her to a vet hospital. Upon hearing this, Karen immediately called me back and said she would see Happy. It truly felt like a godsend, as I knew deep down a specialist might recommend surgery. We headed down right away, and Karen, Chris, and Angie assessed Happy together. Karen was incredibly experienced and thorough, after the physical examination, she identified that this episode was not cervical but in Happy’s mid-spine area. True enough, Happy had lost strength in her back legs and needed support, unlike the first episode. The team immediately started red light therapy, and we went home to begin strict crate rest again. What truly warmed my heart was the level of care and compassion they showed. They checked on Happy daily, even after working hours, something I’ve never experienced before, not even with vets. I was mentally exhausted and very stressed, as Happy needed support for walking, feeding, and toileting. Throughout those two weeks, the team gave constant guidance, reassurance, and practical advice. They also did their best to slot Happy in whenever possible for red light and ultrasound therapy. After two weeks of treatment and strict crate rest, Happy regained strength in her back legs and is now able to walk and run normally again. Today, Happy goes to Gaia Wellness every 2–3 weeks for maintenance, and she has gained so much muscle strength in her hind legs. What I really love is that the team is never pushy—they always put Happy’s wellbeing first and give honest, thoughtful recommendations. Karen, Chris and Angie will forever be our benefactors. I love Happy so much, and I’m endlessly grateful to this wonderful team for giving her the care, support, and second chance she deserves ❤️

Going to Gaia for Yuki’s physiotherapy is easily one of the best decision. They have accurately assessed where Yuki’s pain points are and they came up with a treatment plan that has been helping Yuki with her mobility. They have definitely helped us in our aim to help Yuki age gracefully. We would especially like to thank Angie for being so accommodating and gentle with Yuki. Yuki, being a Shiba, is not the easiest dog to handle due to her proneness to Shiba scream. Angie, being patient, didn’t force Yuki into doing things that she didn’t like and Yuki definitely enjoyed being in her care.

We started with Gaia Animal Wholistic Wellness in November 2021, and have been regulars ever since. My dog, Pixiu, was dianogsed with hip dysplasia and luxating patella, and our vet recommended us to continue with physio sessions. Pixiu consistently attends sessions with Gaia 2-3x a month, and over the years, I have noticed that his walking form has improved so much and he is also able to walk long distances with me easily. When Pixiu suffered a back injury a few years back, the Gaia team went out of the way to attend to us and responded to my questions even late at night. That was an immense source of comfort. I would like to give a shoutout to the team at Gaia - especially Karen, Chris and Angie - who are very knowledgeable and experienced, and are also able to handle my sometimes very ill behaved dog. Special mention to Angie, whose consistency, attentiveness and deep understanding of Pixiu’s condition have played a big role in his long-term improvement. Thank you Gaia!

I would strongly recommend Gaia Wholistic Animal Wellness for anyone out there looking for animal therapists. From the very first evaluation session for my husky, @LengzaiTheHusky, we got to know Chris and Karen. They were both super helpful and patient even when we asked loads of questions about literally everything. My husky’s posture and fitness improved significantly after loads of guided exercise and therapy by Karen, Chris and Honey, and he really loves their activities which always helped him to correct his bad habits. I also went with them for my other dog - @YandaoTheSpitz. They managed to get a very lazy spitz to actually become very active physically! Now, he looks forward every week to his sessions with Gaia! Highly recommended!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Dawn of Gaia Rebirthing charge per session?

Dawn of Gaia Rebirthing displays a mid-range price indicator but does not publish a fixed session rate publicly. Holistic wellness sessions in Singapore typically run S$80–200 per session depending on duration and modality, with first-consultation fees sometimes differing from ongoing session rates. Package pricing — for example, a block of four to six sessions — often works out at a lower per-session cost than single bookings. Confirm the per-session rate, any first-consultation fee, and the no-show or cancellation policy directly before booking. See the full holistic wellness cost guide for Singapore →

Do I need a referral or assessment first?

Holistic wellness practitioners like those at Dawn of Gaia Rebirthing typically do not require a GP referral to book, though an intake conversation or short assessment at the first visit is common. This helps the practitioner understand your goals, any relevant medical history, and whether the modality — in this case rebirthing breathwork and holistic practice — is appropriate for your current state of health. If you have a diagnosed physical or psychiatric condition, it is worth mentioning this at the time of enquiry. For clients considering using a private health insurer's complementary-therapy benefit, a GP referral letter may help support a claim — check your policy terms before the appointment.

Is the practitioner licensed?

Holistic and breathwork modalities such as rebirthing are not governed by a statutory licensing board in Singapore — unlike physiotherapy (AHPC), TCM (TCMPB), or medicine (SMC). This means there is no public register to cross-check against, and practitioner credentials depend on training background, professional memberships, and client outcomes rather than a government licence. Dawn of Gaia Rebirthing is KakiList-verified, confirming that operating details and contact channels have been validated. Before your first session, ask the practitioner directly about their training, certifications, years of practice, and any professional associations they hold. Confirm the session scope and any contraindications in advance.
