About Dear Mutt

About Dear Mutt

Dear Mutt is a Singapore-based dog walking and pet sitting service, operating islandwide from its base at River Valley Road. The listing is KakiList-verified, meaning operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. It holds a Google rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 38 reviews — a moderate sample that offers a reasonable directional signal, though prospective clients should read individual reviews for context. Pricing is positioned at the mid-range tier for Singapore pet services.

When getting in touch with Dear Mutt, come prepared with your dog's size, breed, and general temperament, as these factors typically influence scheduling and suitability for group or solo walks. You will also want to have vaccination records ready — proof of up-to-date jabs is standard practice for responsible pet service providers. It is worth asking whether a trial visit or meet-and-greet is available before committing to a recurring schedule, as this allows both the handler and your pet to establish comfort. Clarify whether services are drop-off based or conducted at your home, and discuss preferred time slots and frequency if you are looking for regular care.

To get started, reach out to Dear Mutt via WhatsApp, phone, or the contact form on their listing. Have your dog's details and vaccination records on hand, and ask directly about availability, scheduling, and any trial arrangement before confirming a booking.

We brought our dog to Mutts & Mittens @ Clarke Quay for a swim, and it was such a wonderful experience. The instructors were incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful—they even took the time to play with our dog, which made the session even more enjoyable. Our Loki had an amazing time in the pool and was clearly very comfortable with them. The facility itself is clean, beautifully maintained, and very well-equipped. After an hour in the mineral pool, Loki’s coat felt noticeably smoother and softer—such a nice bonus! Each booking includes a 1-hour swim session plus additional 15 minutes in the shower cubicle, and another 15 minutes in the drying area, with dryers conveniently provided. Complimentary life jackets are available, and there are plenty of toys to keep dogs entertained. Overall, a fantastic place for dog swimming sessions. Loki had a blast, and we’ll definitely be back!

We brought our fur babies for a swim today and had such a wonderful experience! Huge compliments to Buddi and Iin Rong — both of them were so friendly, sweet and accommodating from start to finish. A very special thank-you to Buddi. When I told him that my dog Kopi-O was swimming for the very first time, he was incredibly gentle, patient and attentive. He guided Kopi-O slowly, kept watching over her, and made sure she felt safe and confident in the water. It really touched my heart, and I could see how happy Kopi-O was during the whole session. The place is also very clean, pretty and comfortable — we love the environment so much! We will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

Hope this review helps fellow owners ! Facilities for dogs 4.5/5 - Air conditioned so it can get quite cold when dog or u are wet. Staff had informed me they had already turned off an aircon but still quite chilly! Especially for smaller dogs they’ll start shivering quite fast. Bigger dogs should be fine - There are dog shower and drying cubicles. Bring your own dog shampoo n towels. There are stools provided inside each of these cubicles - Dog dryer provided in cubicle with heat setting. Transparent door with lock which is good. However the provided dryer can be quite loud so may spook skittish dogs in an enclosed area, better to bring your own dryer if so Pool 4/5 - No strong chlorine smell like other reviews, at entrance have but not at the pool located deeper in the place. I also accidentally tasted it and i think can verify no chlorine, lol - My dog is due for grooming the next day so I just rinsed thoroughly and dried him after the swim. His fur is still soft fluffy and smells good afterwards - Pool is heated! Good temp - Sloping so good for smaller dogs or those learning to swim - Many swim vests provided and staff is quick and friendly to assist in fitting :) - Well maintained in terms of cleanliness - Decently sized for about 5 dogs, but i foresee any more may be quite chaotic - No leash allowed in the pool so keeping harness on will be good if you need to catch your dog lol - Plenty of seating area and with tables beside pool provided - Saw a dog pee inside and owners didn’t stop her tho Facilities for humans 3/5 - 2 nice clean changing cubicles. No shower but understandable since Wagnwild is the same and having it would cause congestion - Just bring body wipes and change of clothes for yourself - A hook to hang a bag will be nice! Overall nice little place for small/medium dogs who don’t need a lot of space to have fun. I donno maybe will be good to provide some sort of tags for dogs to wear (eg. give space, guards toys, etc whatever) coz some owners may not catch tension with dogs in time, then in an smaller off leash area there is bound to be some scuffles. Staff are quick to come and help when it happens though! I think as long as you can read yours and other dogs body language it’ll be fine !

We brought our dog to Mutts and Mittens for her birthday on 10 Feb, and it was her first time trying out swimming. She was quite scared of the water and kept trying to run away from the pool, but Emiko was incredibly kind and patient with her. She took the time to gently coax and encourage our dog to go towards the pool without rushing her. We really appreciated the warm and attentive service — it made the whole experience much more comfortable for both us and our pup. Thank you, Emiko!

Really impressed with the service and care at the pet swimming pool in Clarke Quay! The Chinese lady staff was so proactive she made sure all the dogs had fun and stayed safe. Her eyes were sharp like an eagle, always watching out for any hazards. You can tell she genuinely loves working with animals. The Myanmar staff were just as great — very efficient in cleaning up any pee or poo accidents quickly. The whole team clearly takes pride in their work and shows real job satisfaction. What stood out even more was how clean the place is. They clean the pool and surrounding area thoroughly after every session. Compared to another dog swimming pool we visited, this one is much cleaner and better managed. We’ve been to other boarding houses under the same boss, but the Clarke Quay staff are exceptional. Boss, if you're reading this — your team here deserves recognition. Please do something to show them your appreciation! They're the reason customers like us keep coming back. Highly recommended for all pet owners!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Dear Mutt charge?

Dear Mutt is priced at the mid-range tier for Singapore pet services, though specific per-visit rates are not publicly listed — you will need to contact them directly for a quote. In the Singapore market, dog walking typically ranges from S$20–S$35 per walk, while pet sitting can run S$50–S$120 per night depending on the provider and scope of care. When requesting a quote, confirm whether breed size, coat type, or temperament affects pricing, and ask about any add-ons such as feeding, administering medication, or extended play time. Also clarify whether transport costs apply if the service is conducted away from your home. See the full dog walking and pet sitting cost guide for Singapore →

What vaccinations does Dear Mutt require?

Responsible pet service providers in Singapore typically require dogs to be current on core vaccinations, including the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies. For services involving contact with other animals — such as group walks or daycare arrangements — bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also commonly requested. Vaccinations are generally expected to have been administered within the past 12 months. You should bring or share your dog's vaccination booklet or a vet-issued record at the point of enquiry or at the first session. Confirm Dear Mutt's specific vaccination requirements directly when you get in touch, as policies can vary between providers.

Is Dear Mutt licensed and insured?

Dear Mutt is KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed the provider's operating details and contact channels. The business is not currently listed as ACRA-registered in our records, and no Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) licence is on file with this listing — note that AVS licensing is required for boarding facilities in Singapore, so if you are considering overnight pet sitting, it is worth confirming the regulatory status directly with Dear Mutt. Ask explicitly whether the service carries insurance covering injury or illness to your pet during a walk or sitting session, and what the protocol is should an incident occur. Visit the facility or meet the handler in person, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance coverage before drop-off.
