To take the next step, contact Dental Essence directly by phone or form to book a first consultation, and ask for a written fee estimate covering the examination, any X-rays, and the proposed treatment before your appointment.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.

Dr. Linda never rushes through appointments, she takes the time to listen, explain, and review every detail until you’re completely satisfied. Her team is also wonderful, always welcoming, kind, and ready with a smile. They make every visit such a pleasant experience. As an expat who moves frequently, I’ve seen many dentists around the world, but Dr. Linda is truly one of a kind. Dental Essence is listed at a mid-range ($$) price point, though a detailed fee schedule was not provided for this listing. Dental fees in Singapore vary considerably by procedure — a standard consultation and examination typically runs S$50–100, a scale and polish S$80–150, a tooth filling S$100–300 depending on material, and more involved treatments such as root canal therapy or crown placement S$800–2,500+. GST applies on all dental procedures. For cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening or veneers, costs climb further. Ask the clinic for a written treatment plan and itemised quote before proceeding, particularly if multiple procedures are recommended in a single visit. See the full dental cost guide for Singapore →
No referral is required to book a first appointment at a private dental clinic in Singapore. Your initial visit will typically involve a clinical examination and, where clinically indicated, dental X-rays to give the dentist a full picture of your oral health before any treatment is recommended. If you intend to claim against an integrated shield plan or corporate dental benefit, check your insurer's panel list before booking, as reimbursement may depend on whether the clinic is on the approved panel. Patients with complex medical histories — such as those on blood thinners, immunosuppressants, or bisphosphonates — should inform the clinic before the appointment, as these can affect treatment planning.
All practising dentists in Singapore must be registered with the Singapore Dental Council (SDC), a statutory board under the Ministry of Health. Registration is verifiable on the SDC's public register at sdc.gov.sg. The clinic premises itself must also hold a valid MOH clinic licence under the Healthcare Services Act. No regulatory licences were listed for Dental Essence in the current data, so we recommend confirming the consulting dentist's SDC registration number and the clinic licence directly with the practice before your first appointment. Dental specialists (orthodontists, oral surgeons, periodontists, endodontists) hold a separate specialist registration on the SDC register — confirm this if you are seeking specialist treatment. Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
