About Dirty Dogs

About Dirty Dogs

Dirty Dogs is a pet grooming service operating islandwide across Singapore, listed on KakiList as a verified and ACRA-registered business. It holds a perfect 5/5 rating across 29 Google reviews — a moderate sample size that points positively but should be read alongside your own enquiry. Pricing sits at the mid-range tier ($$).

When reaching out to Dirty Dogs, come prepared with your pet's size, breed, and coat type, as these will influence the grooming package recommended. It is also worth mentioning any temperament considerations — anxious, reactive, or elderly animals may need a more patient approach, and flagging this upfront helps the groomer plan accordingly. Bring along up-to-date vaccination records, as reputable groomers typically require proof before the appointment. If you are new to the service, ask whether a trial visit is available to let your pet acclimatise before committing to a recurring schedule. Clarify whether the service is drop-off at the Havelock Road location or whether mobile grooming is offered, and discuss how frequently you would like appointments — coat condition, breed, and lifestyle all affect how often grooming is needed.

To get started, reach out to Dirty Dogs via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to share your pet's details and arrange a first appointment at their Havelock Road premises.

It's been 3 years since Rei's first visit we we cannot be more grateful to the team for their absolute care and attentiveness to my dog. They were definitely a good sent when we were searching high and low for reliable pet groomer near our home and we never looked back. Kudos to the team for the good job done, always!

Thank you TseYing from Dirty Dogs for being so patient and gentle with Milo. As this was his first trip to the groomers since I adopted him. I was feeling so nervous and having anxiety myself to leave him at the groomers but now i am confident and will definitely send Milo here again. Milo say thank you as well.

We brought our puppy who had been at other groomers and we knew we hadn’t found the right fit yet but here is different! From the beginning Elise was so helpful to understand what we were looking for in her cut and listened to our prior issues. The whole team was professional, so friendly and we could tell our pup had a positive experience as her demeanour after pickup was light and happy. The team wrote us with updates, asked our preference and explained any additional fees before going ahead. We appreciate the transparency and attention to detail. Overall wonderful experience, will recommend to our other friends

Brought our mini dachshund Charlie here for the first time and loved the experience. You can really tell that they treat the dogs with love and care, asking many questions and patiently providing suggestions and explanations throughout the whole grooming process. They even fixed a persistent problem that we had with his itchy ears! They provided photo and video updates during the session as well. Elise and Felicia were wonderful and patient even though Charlie is a difficult and noisy customer! He loved hanging out there so much that he didn’t even notice us when we came for pick up. 😂 The service was affordable. Will definitely recommend and most certainly will be returning.

My dogs are always well taken care of at Dirty Dogs! The groomers are experienced, friendly, gentle, and my dogs are always extremely happy to see them! The salon is clean and safe - There are double gates installed so there's no chance dogs can escape. They also take very cute photos and send video updates when there's time!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Dirty Dogs charge?

Grooming prices at Dirty Dogs are typically quoted per visit and vary based on your pet's size, breed, and coat condition. Smaller breeds with short coats generally attract a lower base rate, while larger dogs or those with thick, double, or curly coats may incur a higher fee. Add-on services such as de-shedding treatments, teeth brushing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning are usually priced separately, so confirm exactly what is included in the quoted package before your appointment. If a mobile or home-visit option is available, factor in any transport surcharge on top of the grooming fee. Always confirm the full cost in writing before the session begins to avoid surprises. What vaccinations does Dirty Dogs require?

For dogs, most grooming providers in Singapore require proof of core vaccinations — typically the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and, where applicable, rabies. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is commonly requested as well, particularly if your pet will be in close contact with other animals during a group grooming session or drop-off wait. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine is the standard expectation. Vaccination records are generally expected to be current within the past 12 months. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or a copy of the vet certificate to your first appointment. Contact Dirty Dogs directly to confirm their specific vaccination requirements before booking.

Is Dirty Dogs licensed and insured?

Dirty Dogs is ACRA-registered and has been independently verified by KakiList, meaning a real person confirmed the operating details and contact information on the listing. In Singapore, the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board oversees the licensing of pet boarding establishments; grooming-only services have a separate regulatory framework, so it is worth asking Dirty Dogs directly whether they hold any AVS-related licences relevant to their premises. Regarding insurance, ask the provider whether they carry coverage for incidents involving your pet during the grooming session — for example, injury, adverse reactions, or escapes. A reputable groomer should be able to describe their protocol for handling a pet that becomes unwell or distressed during the appointment. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
