I had my laparoscopic (keyhole) gallbladder surgery performed by Dr Thng, and I’m truly grateful for the experience. It was my first time undergoing surgery, so I was naturally quite nervous. However, Dr Thng was calm, reassuring, and explained the procedure clearly, which made me feel much more at ease. The surgery itself was quick — about one hour — and my recovery exceeded my expectations. I had heard from a friend that she couldn’t move much for several days after her surgery, but I was already up and walking around the same evening. That really speaks to Dr Thng’s skill and experience. He also assisted in expediting my insurance claims, which made the entire process much smoother. The scarring was minimal as well. Overall, a very positive experience. 5/5 stars for Dr Thng — highly recommended.

I visited Dr Thng Yongxian after having issues with my gallbladder and an emergency ERCP procedure abroad. I was explained very clearly the issues surrounding my gallbladder and the procedure that would need to be completed to remove the issue. The Dr and his nursing team made me feel very comfortable and allowed me to ask many questions especially as I was nervous as this was my first ever surgery and I am only 3 months postpartum. Dr Yongxian fitted my surgery in quickly and made me feel comfortable during the lead up to the procedure. Once the procedure was complete the Dr immediately informed my husband that everything went smoothly and reviewed me the following day before discharging, again, answering all questions and queries. On the final follow up appointment 5 days post procedure, the Dr reviewed everything thoroughly and was happy with the progress, and provided me with some information to assist in long term health, alongside this, after 3 days my pain subsided almost completely, and I hope I will continue the progression to complete recovery. I felt very comfortable as the Dr was specialised within this surgery area and highly expert. From my experience I highly recommend Dr Thng Yongxian.

I was referred to Dr Thng for a gastroscopy and colonoscopy, and I was extremely terrified of the pain. Dr Thng patiently reassured me that it would not hurt, explaining that with his experience and the sedation, it would simply feel like going to sleep and waking up with the procedure done. His calm and confident manner immediately made me feel safe and at ease. True to his word, I experienced no pain or discomfort when I woke up, even though numerous polyps were removed during the procedure. An ultrasound scan done subsequently revealed that I had multiple gallstones, and Dr Thng advised gallbladder removal. Once again, he performed the keyhole surgery for me. This was done three months ago, and I intentionally waited before writing this review to ensure I had fully recovered and could give a fair assessment. I am happy to share that I feel completely fine. Dr Thng is professional, reassuring, and highly skilled. I would definitely recommend him as a trusted and reliable healthcare practitioner 🥰👍🏻

I went through an ultrasound and was diagnosed with gallstones. After that, I consulted Dr Thng, who carefully explained my condition and advised gallbladder removal due to my persistent bloated stomach symptoms. Dr Thng was very reassuring and took the time to draw a schematic of the gallbladder to help me understand how it works and why surgery was necessary. He was extremely patient in answering all my questions, always responding clearly, and even called me personally to address my concerns. I eventually underwent surgery on 13 January in the morning, and everything went smoothly. I am very thankful for his professionalism, patience, and excellent care throughout the entire process. Highly recommend Dr Thng and his team.
