Families and students exploring music lessons should begin by enquiring about the level and syllabus fit — whether beginner, intermediate, or advanced, and whether the focus is classical, contemporary, or examination-grade repertoire (such as ABRSM or Trinity). It is worth asking whether lessons are conducted one-to-one or in small groups, whether a trial class is available before committing to a term, and how lessons are structured in terms of term length and commitment. The school is accessible from Lobby 2 or Lobby 3 of CT Hub 2; do confirm the exact unit before your first visit, as the building has multiple lobbies.
To take the next step, reach out to Eason Music School via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to ask about current availability, instrument offerings, and whether a trial lesson can be arranged before signing up for a full term.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
It was amazing 😍🤩! Big thanks to the boss of the company Mr Sung Wah,who was personally there and played for me Erhu and showed me how much beautiful this instrument can sound! 🤗 Huge thanks to Anson as well who handled everything!!:)Thank you guys
Definitely the best place online to buy Erhus and other kinds of traditional Chinese instruments! It was an amazing shopping experience, buying from Eason Music. Very kind, patient people, with tremendous amount of expertise and an excellent customer service. Replies always were in a timely and pleasant manner, with well-defined and professional answers to all questions. I obtained proper instructions on how to handle my part of the bureaucratic process, while they managed everything else. They were monitoring the delivery constantly and reminded me, of the final steps required to receive my package, when noticing, that I still didn't pay for the taxes and duties (I had an issue with my ID). All the products are of high quality, fit exactly to their description, were packed securely and arrived fast, without being damaged. Even after I already received the items, they continue to help me, whenever I have questions. From the very beginning, they made a good impression and I felt, that they are doing everything possible, to fulfill all of my needs, which they accomplished above and beyond all expectations. I am very thankful and satisfied with Eason Music and can only warmly recommend them. Undoubtedly, they earned my trust and acquired a loyal customer! Thank you so much, for all of your efforts and kindness, Eason Music!!!
Recently purchased a gong from Eason Music and had a great experience! Communicate via WhatsApp and the team was responsive, provided timely updates and the delivery was quick. The product arrived in perfect condition and matched our expectations. Would definitely recommend their service!
We were totally new to pipa and went Eason just to buy pipa nails as well as enquired on pipa lesson. Zhi Feng was very professional and gave us good advice. We learnt a lot from him. He even gladly showed us the instruments though we had no intention to buy. We were glad to have visited Eason.
Review updated as on 08May 2024. --- Walked here from Lavender MRT but Bendemeer MRT is nearer. (see map attached) Place is easy to find. It was my 1st time here and I was greeted by a friendly lady. For people who are very particular, this shop is bilingual. EN and CN. Came here to get a Cello Rosin and a Erhu Bow to try on my Ma Tou Qin 马头琴. Lady helped me ask Mr Sung Wah and she showed me the way too. I am surprised he knows what a ma tou qin 马头琴 is. (Not a very common instrument in SG. This is a Mongolian Instrument which is rarely used in Chinese Orchestra too.) He said he doesn't have accessories for Ma tou qin which is fine but he was patient, friendly and, helped me to understand how a erhu bow works and that there are made in 2 styles. I bought the 90cm Beijing Erhu Bow which is what I need. He also explained in detail how different they are and did not hard sell me his products. Cashier Lady was also very friendly and patient throughout too. Mr Sung Wah also recommended me Ms. Wang Jing from Gima Band to ask if she still accept classes for Matouqin and Erhu. Really happy I came here. I don't live nearby but will gladly return again. Products were affordable too. Note, they do not do Erhu Rehair, only Erhu Repair. Read more on their Facebook and Website. Cheers.

Eason Music School's listing indicates a mid-range price point ($$), but specific per-session rates, monthly packages, or term fees are not published publicly. Music school pricing in Singapore typically ranges from around S$35–60 per session for group classes and S$60–150 or more per session for one-to-one tuition, depending on the instrument, teacher's qualifications, and lesson duration. When enquiring, ask whether a trial class is available and what it costs, whether there are materials or registration fees, and whether package or sibling discounts apply. Term-based commitments are common, so confirm the cancellation and make-up lesson policy before signing up. See the full Music Schools cost guide for Singapore →
Many music schools in Singapore offer a trial lesson before a student enrols in a term — it is worth asking Eason Music School directly whether this is available and whether the trial is charged at the standard session rate or offered at a reduced fee. A trial lesson is a useful opportunity to assess whether the teaching style suits your child or yourself, whether the level and pace feel appropriate, and whether the learning environment is comfortable. Take note of how the teacher engages the student and whether the lesson structure balances technique with enjoyment. Contact the school via WhatsApp, phone, or the online form to ask about trial availability before making a term commitment.
Tutor qualifications are not listed in the publicly available information for Eason Music School. For music instruction, relevant credentials typically include a degree in music performance or music education, ABRSM or Trinity Grade 8 and above (with Distinction) in the relevant instrument, and experience teaching students at the intended level. It is also worth asking whether teachers are familiar with the specific examination board your child is working towards — ABRSM, Trinity, or LCM — and whether the school has a track record of preparing students for graded examinations. Contact Eason Music School directly to ask about individual teacher backgrounds and their experience with your instrument and level before committing to a term.
