Shoutout to Irene and Elise! Irene assisted me when I first visited EDL. She introduced the showroom to me and showed how to view the samples, the bigger pullout laminates and where to see the samples under the different light temperature etc. Locating the samples I want did get confusing and Irene helped me whenever I approached her for help. On another visit, Elise assisted me with Viefe handles and also explained about the Compact range for a customised table I am going to do. She gave her recommendations and tips on what to look out for. She also helped to check stock for the trimmings I urgently needed. I ordered some knobs from her and she helped coordinate my payment and collection. Both Irene and Elise were very friendly, patient and kind and made my visits very fruitful! The showroom looks absolutely lovely ( Congrats on the design award!) but I think organising the samples to better coordinate with the larger sized laminates may be needed to help both visitors and staff. You can hear quite many others talking about being confused while there. Quite often the small samples don’t show the full grain of the wooden laminates and it was quite a problem for someone like me who is only after the wood with little to no ripples/‘eyes’. I decided to look through every single big pull out laminate and then get the code and locate the small sample to bring back for my ID. Time consuming, yes, but the least confusing. Just remember to push back the laminates after viewing so it’s easier for everyone else.
