About Edulab Academy
Edulab Academy is a test preparation and admissions tutoring provider based at 15 Scotts Road in Orchard, offering its services islandwide across Singapore. Parents and students looking into Edulab Academy should begin by enquiring about the specific examination or admissions target — whether that is PSLE, O-Levels, A-Levels, DSA, IP school entry, or an overseas admissions test such as SAT or UKISAT — and confirming that the syllabus coverage aligns with the student's current school track. It is worth asking whether classes are conducted in small groups or as one-to-one sessions, as the format can significantly affect pacing and attention. A trial class is a sensible first step before committing to a full term, allowing both the student and parents to assess teaching style, level appropriateness, and whether the materials address actual exam technique.
To get started, reach out to Edulab Academy via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form to confirm current class availability for the relevant examination level, ask about trial class options, and obtain a full fee breakdown including any materials charges before committing.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
EduLab has great facilities and a very nice learning environment! All the teachers there are super dedicated, which really helped me grow academically and gain more confidence over time. I have developed a lot during my time here, and I would not be where I am today without them! My English improved by a significant amount under my English tutor Ms Dawn! She is super kind and helpful, and her explanations are always easily understandable 😄
Had the pleasure of working with Sean for IB MAA HL and PHY HL, as well as Mrs Tan for ELL SL, both of whom ultimately helped me achieve a perfect 45 in the IB Exams. Sean was very resilient with me in my journey towards pushing both my subjects, which were 4s, all the way to 7s in the actual IB exams. His tenacious, clear and fun nature during lessons did wonders for me, helping me stay engaged and interested, yet continuously learning and improving. I remember first coming in not being sure about how to properly structure my study plans. Sean was highly capable in not only building lessons in a way that played to my strengths and boosted my confidence in the respective subjects, but also ensuring I did not neglect my weak topics. Surgically, Sean would methodically cover all aspects of the MAA HL syllabus, ensuring no concept was left unprepared for. His provision of an exceptionally holistic experience was what I strongly believe to be the difference between getting a 6 and a 7 in the IB exams. Sean is an extremely rare tutor in the sense he genuinely loves what he does at the centre and strives to see his students improve. I often recall him asking me to stay back in class to finish up another question or two even though officially our session time had run out. That truly is dedication and commitment. Moving onto Mrs Tan, prior to meeting her, I had been getting consistent 4s for my English exams, with seemingly no way to improve. Being more of a STEM student, I struggled with writing commentaries and essays, often structuring them like a scientific report. Mrs Tan trained me to reframe my thought processes, while arming me with a suite of literary devices and explanation techniques to truly level up my writing game. Bit by bit, she pushed my 4 to a low 6, then consistent high 6s throughout my final year, before finally hitting a 7 in the IB Exams. Truly grateful for both tutors, who essentially gave me a point boost of 9 grades, allowing me to achieve a perfect score of 45 in the final IB exams.
My son attended Economics classes under Alyssa and Chemistry classes under Mr. Mike. Both tutors are very approachable and prompt in marking and reviewing papers. They not only provide strong academic support but also encourage and nurture students’ confidence and spirit. In addition, the administrative staff—especially Cielo—are extremely helpful and responsive. I would absolutely recommend Edulab to parents who are looking for quality tuition.
From Elizabeth’s mum It was already close to school prelims and two months away from IB exams. But Ms Bee after hearing my concern patiently was swiftly able to recommend Teacher Mike to support my girl in her chemistry. They were entirely supportive throughout from accommodating for the timing of the trial class and eventually setting up the timing of the confirmed lessons. They keep in mind my girl’s busy schedule ( school plus other home tuitions) and generously fit in the best timing that’s more effective for my girl’s learning . I am so grateful as eventually my girl was able to hit her target score of 6 confidently . All thanks to teacher mike who was able to pin point my girl’s weak link and work closely with her to bridge the gap. Actually, she is jus 3 points shy of a score of 7 which means it could be a move of two grades from her prelims grade of 5 . Thus, I would seriously recommend teacher mike for those who wants to do well or even improve on their chemistry grades . Most important my girl enjoyed her lessons so much and honesty even look forward to her tuition lessons. Given the short time frame of only 10 lessons of 1.5 hrs each spanning 7 wks, this is true testimony of the targeted ability of teacher mike in helping the student realised his or her true potential . Well done Teacher Mike !
I’ve had a really positive experience at Edulab. The teachers are patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about their students’ progress. The lessons are well-structured and focus not only on understanding the content but also on exam techniques. I’ve seen a big improvement in my confidence and grades since joining. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality academic support!

Test preparation providers in Singapore typically charge S$60–120 per session for group classes and S$120–250 per session for one-to-one tuition, with term-based packages often offering a modest discount over pay-per-session rates. Many test preparation centres in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee, before requiring a term commitment. A trial session is particularly useful for assessing whether the teaching pace matches the student's current level, whether exam-technique drilling is built into the lesson, and whether the tutor's explanatory style suits the student's learning preferences. Contact Edulab Academy directly via WhatsApp or phone to ask about their current trial class policy, as availability may depend on the programme and intake timing.
Edulab Academy has not published specific tutor credentials in its publicly available listing. For test preparation and admissions coaching, relevant credentials to ask about include NIE or MOE teaching experience, a relevant degree in the subject area, and familiarity with the specific examination syllabus — whether MOE PSLE and national examinations, the IB Diploma, IGCSE, or international admissions tests such as the SAT. It is advisable to ask directly which tutor will be assigned to your child's class and to request their background before committing to a term.
