About Starich Education
Starich Education is a test preparation and admissions centre located at 36 Purvis St, #02-15, Singapore 188613, serving students islandwide. The provider is both KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered. It holds a 5/5 rating across 200 Google reviews, a robust sample that lends weight to the score.
Families typically begin by enquiring about the specific test or admissions target — whether that is the PSLE, DSA, IP, O-Level, A-Level, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, or an overseas university application — and confirming that the syllabus and timeline match the student's current level. It is worth clarifying whether classes are conducted in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, what the term commitment looks like, and whether sessions are held on-site at Purvis Street or offered online. A trial class is a practical way to assess teaching style, pacing, and whether the material is pitched at the right level before committing to a longer package.
To take the next step, reach out to Starich Education via phone or the enquiry form to discuss your child's target examination, preferred format, and available slots.
Take the trial class and confirm the tutor's actual credentials before committing to a term.
the class is very clean which I love it. I recommend to come learn here. And the teacher is very nice and love make us entertained so there's no any tension in classroom (≧▽≦)
The teachers here are very kind and teach very well. However, the classrooms are a bit small. Everything else is good.

Starich Education displays a mid-range price indicator, but specific per-session or monthly package fees are not publicly listed. Test preparation programmes are often priced as term packages or a set number of sessions rather than a flat per-session rate, so the total cost depends on the test target, class format (group vs one-to-one), and duration of the programme. It is worth asking about a trial class fee, whether materials are included, and whether sibling or package discounts apply. See the full Test Prep & Admissions cost guide for Singapore →
Many test preparation providers in Singapore offer a trial class, sometimes at a reduced fee or as part of the enrolment process. A trial session is the most reliable way to assess whether the teaching pace, instructional style, and difficulty level suit your child. Look out for how engaged the student is during the session, whether the tutor adjusts to gaps in knowledge, and whether the content maps closely to the actual examination format and mark scheme. Contact Starich Education directly to confirm their trial class policy and current availability before signing up for a full term.
Specific tutor credentials are not listed publicly for Starich Education. When enquiring, it is reasonable to ask about each tutor's educational background, whether they have NIE or MOE teaching experience, how long they have been preparing students for the relevant test, and their familiarity with the current syllabus or exam format — particularly for qualifications such as the SAT, IELTS, DSA portfolio process, or the MOE O-Level and A-Level mark schemes. If a specific tutor is important to your decision, ask to confirm that the named person will be conducting your child's sessions rather than a substitute, and request a brief profile before committing.
If Starich Education isn't the right fit, these are other test prep & admissions providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
