Elim Charis Montessori has been a loving and wonderful preschool for our child. It’s a place where children are genuinely cared for and supported, and where they’re given the space to grow at their own pace. The smaller class sizes made a real difference, and our child thrived with the individual attention. Beyond the core curriculum, we really appreciated the option to add on enrichment classes like robotics, sports and art, which were all well received by our child. The school also places strong emphasis on community activities, giving the children meaningful exposure beyond the classroom and helping them develop awareness, confidence and empathy. Some other highlights were the Little Chef sessions, the water carnivals, and the well-organised field trips - everything felt thoughtful and intentional. A special thank you to Teacher Angie, Teacher Cindy, Teacher Hazel, Teacher Honey, Liu Laoshi and Liyang Laoshi - they are such gems! The warmth of the school clearly reflects the heart and leadership of Principal Joyce. Now in Primary 1, we can clearly see how well our child was prepared - academically, emotionally, and socially. Leaving was bittersweet, but we’re deeply grateful for the foundation Elim Charis Montessori has given our child and the friendships made. We wholeheartedly recommend Elim Charis Montessori to any parent looking for a nurturing and enriching preschool environment!

My daughter attended Elim.Charis Montessori for two years, and we could not be more pleased with the experience. The level of care shown by all the teachers is truly exceptional. We are very grateful for the holistic approach of the school and the wonderful activities offered throughout the year — drama, arts and crafts, gym, robotics, Montessori work, gardening, water play… and her Mandarin improved so much! We were also very impressed by how much she learned at such a young age — counting, early reading, and many practical life skills. Many good values are also reached and drive activities (sharing with friends, caring for others, being responsible for our planet, etc.), The school organizes frequent outdoor activities that parents can join (parks, Marina Bay, visiting turtles, etc.), which we really appreciated. Regular parent meetings kept us informed about the themes and learning objectives covered in class. Our daughter always felt included and supported, and we saw her confidence and development grow beautifully over time. The school community is easy to work with, and Joyce, the Director, is always accessible and genuinely dedicated. It may be a small school, but it’s a fantastic environment for little ones to start their learning journey. The team is flexible, caring, and truly committed. Thank you so much!

We’ve been with Charis for two years now, and both our children attend the school. They genuinely enjoy going to school and didn’t take long to transition when they first started thanks to the Principal and teachers who have been consistently nurturing, patient, loving, and kind. The school is also very well-maintained and clean which is one of the things that impresses me. The curriculum is well structured, supported with fun enrichment classes (Art, Chinese speech and drama, sports, robotics), plenty of outdoor play (planting, playground, water play, exercise), weekly gourmet class and meaningful excursions that allow the kids to learn beyond the classroom. I especially look forward to the annual concert that my children participate in—it’s a wonderful experience that really helps build their confidence and we couldn’t be more proud!
