I first sent them an email but received no response at all, which forced me to call the clinic. Shannon answered the call and, after hearing my enquiry, placed me on hold to check with a colleague. Unfortunately, she did not mute the line, and I overheard the colleague say, “Oh yes yes, if she is not buying the food from us, we have to charge her for the prescription letter.” When Shannon returned to the call, she repeated the same message. I asked why the prescription was never given to me when my cat was first diagnosed in 2024. I explained that I needed the food delivered this time, which was why I could not purchase it in person. She said she would check with her manager or supervisor and call me back. Less than five minutes later, another staff member called, and the conversation became even more frustrating. She repeated that there would be a charge and claimed it was clinic policy. She reiterated that if they have the inventory, and I choose to buy from somewhere else, I will be charged for the prescription. When I questioned whether this policy effectively forces customers to purchase food directly from them, she told me I should have raised my concerns earlier. Booked in at appointment in the morning for vaccination at 2.30pm today for my dog, however, upon arrival and after doing the checks, the vet returned to inform me that they can’t do vaccinations due to a shortage of vacinnations nationwide for the past few months. While I can understand this is beyond the vet’s control, why allow bookings for vaccinations via your PHONE LINE if you already knew you had supply shortages in the first place? To make things worse, it was absolutely pouring and I had to carry my dog to and from the clinic for no good reason. Completely disappointed for the absolute waste of time and effort to go into clinic today on my off day.

We have used this vets for nearly 4 years now. Until now, we only needed annual check ups for our cats and so it hasn't been an issue. But recently we have had to have one of our cats see the vet more, due to a health issue. Unfortunately we have had multiple communication issues with the vets (including completely different guidance on fasting time, directly pre surgery, which was very alarming... alongside a lack of responses / follow up calls to us needing to contact them, post surgery). On our most recent follow up appt, despite it being on file/record that our cat is anxious, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seen, despite arriving on time for our appt and there seemingly being no other pets with actual emergencies. The vets are kind and caring, and the actual surgery care was good, but the overall experience for us has not been a positive one.
