I worked with ID Alan Poh for my house renovation works from Jan to Mar 2024. His ID firm was introduced by Redbricks and out of all the 5 ID firms recommended to me, Alan was the one who could conceptualized my ideal design in mind at the most reasonable cost. Alan is a very patient ID and he would go the extra mile to arrange calls with me at late timings to go through each design carefully. As a first-time owner, I would have lofty ideas in mind and what I require was an experienced designer who would tell me what is feasible and whether my idea was impractical - Alan was one designer who could do exactly just that! As with all sorts of renovation works, there would definitely be issues with the fabrication output which is within reasonable expectations. In these cases, the service recovery/support aspects from the ID would be crucial. What I liked about Alan is that he would not give all sorts of excuses to force me to accept something that is not within the design. Instead, he would quickly work with his contractors to rectify the issues within the tight timeline that I had. It has been 3 months since I moved in and I am satisfied with the works provided by Alan and his contractors. Even if there are minor issues that surfaced, Alan would be more than happy to support.
