I must say the vet & nurses(are they called nurses?) are very compassionate and patient with my old girl 🥹 I had a second opinion here and I love that the vet took the time to listen to me, explain what steps can be taken before even needing any surgery of any sorts, and recommending me things to try that are useful. The vet even gave me a syringe without charging me because I wanted to crush medicine and feed my dog, where I have gotten charged for small things like these at other places. Although even if charged it wouldn't have been much but it's the gesture that counts for me. After consultation the vet came out to look at my dog's airway even when she didn't need to cause our consult was over. It's the little things like these that make me feel like they actually care and it's so hard to find that nowadays with so many vet horror stories going around. I am a new customer and I hope to stay as their customer for a long time. Happy that it didn't feel like a money grab session to just try everything and anything without knowing more about my dog. It's rare to find vets nowadays who are still so passionate about pets that aren't even theirs.. I hope this attitude will go on all the way. Even the way the vet talks to the nurses is respectful and I guess it's the culture here that's set right. Thank you Frankel vet! Did not get the vet and nurses name but thank you for caring for my old dog 🤍

When my dog, Patches, suddenly couldn’t get up or walk on his own, I was extremely worried and needed a trustworthy vet urgently. I’m so grateful I went to Dr June Tan at Frankel Veterinary Centre. She saw us on the same day, assessed Patches with care and professionalism, and prescribed the right medication. Just two to three days later, he was back on his feet, still with a slight limp, but walking again! Dr June’s expertise and genuine concern for animals gave me so much reassurance. I’m really glad I chose her for Patches’ care, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any pet owner looking for someone reliable and compassionate. Thank you, Dr June!

My dog had a fractured leg the night before and I called them the next morning and they were helpful to slot him in. Dr June recommended best option was surgery with another doctor but I decided a cast will do although she also did explain the pros & cons. During the healing, we went back around fortnightly to have x-rays taken to ensure he's healing. After 6 weeks, he recovered well and now he's as active as can be. Thank you Dr June + her team of nurses. They have a very pretty house cat always sitting at the reception desk.

Dr June Tan is an excellent veterinarian. The staff are extremely patient and helpful and always accommodating. Live further away from the clinic but will always go back to see Dr June if and when I can.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Frankel Vet Surgery charge?

Frankel Vet Surgery is priced in the mid-range ($$) bracket, though specific per-visit fees are not published on this listing. In Singapore, a standard veterinary consultation typically ranges from S$30 to S$80, with additional charges for diagnostics such as blood panels, X-rays, or urinalysis. Surgical procedures, hospitalisation, and prescription medications are billed separately and can vary considerably by complexity and pet size. Breed and coat type may also affect grooming-related add-ons if offered. It is advisable to ask for a written cost estimate before proceeding with any procedure beyond a routine consultation. What vaccinations does Frankel Vet Surgery require?

For dogs, core vaccinations typically include the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia) is standard, with rabies also recommended. If your pet requires boarding or daycare at any point, the bordetella (kennel cough) vaccine for dogs is commonly required by facilities in Singapore. Most clinics expect vaccinations to be current within the past 12 months. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or digital records to each visit. If your pet is overdue, the vet can advise on a catch-up schedule during the consultation.

Is Frankel Vet Surgery licensed and insured?

Frankel Vet Surgery is listed as KakiList-verified, meaning a real person has confirmed its operating details and contact channels. The clinic holds a 4.2 out of 5 Google rating across 242 reviews, a robust sample that provides reasonable confidence in consistent service quality. No regulatory licences are recorded on this listing — for boarding or grooming activities, the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under the National Parks Board issues the relevant facility licence, and you may wish to confirm directly with the clinic whether such licences are held. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
