When reaching out to Fur & Away, it helps to have your pet's size, breed, and coat type ready, as these factors typically influence the grooming package recommended and the time required for the appointment. Vaccination records — particularly DHPP and rabies for dogs, or FVRCP for cats — are commonly required before grooming can proceed, so have these documents on hand. If your pet is nervous around new environments or other animals, it is worth mentioning their temperament when enquiring, so the team can advise whether a quieter slot or a trial visit might be a good starting point. You can reach Fur & Away via phone or by submitting an enquiry form to ask about available slots and set up a recurring grooming schedule if needed.
To get started, contact Fur & Away Pet Grooming Salon directly by phone or through their enquiry form to confirm availability, discuss your pet's specific needs, and book an initial appointment at their Sembawang Road salon.

Tammy, I just wanted to drop you a note to tell you what a great job you and your staff do grooming my dog, Muffin. She always comes back from her sessions at the 'spa' looking clean and smelling good. I can hardly express what a pleasure it is to have you as my groomer's for this 8 years. A very big Thank You Fur & Away for doing a great job!
My dog came back with an uneven bad fur cut, one look and you would think it is probably done by a trainee. Her fur were not properly cleaned either causing the fur to stick to our shirts and the car. See attachments. But the worse was my dog came back with haemorrhage on both her eyes with the left being blood shot. Heart broken, I called them to find out what happened. They outright denied and the lady boss spoke to me with raised voice saying in her 10 over years of business, this is not a uncommon occurrence. If only I knew, I would never have left my precious furkid with them. There was not a hint of empathy for my heart brokenness and no understanding nor solutions provided. (Perhaps because since it has occurred so many times in their establishment, she has grown numb to it. )She challenged me to bring to the vet which I promptly did. Vet confirmed that it’s due to tight leash (likely) causing blood vessel rapture. And dog needs to be kept under observation for 14 days. In my earlier phone call with them, I said I wanted to be compensated for the medical bill, to which she said, show me what your vet diagnosed first. Maybe I don’t like what he said or his diagnosis . And I won’t compensate you what you paid for the grooming. To which I will say to you now, I asked for compensation of the vet bill because this is the least you could do for putting us through such a harrowing experience yet there was not a word of apology. After seen the vet, and slapped with a $158 bill, I say to you now: Keep your money. You are a business without a heart. I will use my negative experience to raise awareness in warning other dog owners about your business practice. I will keep my dog under observation for 14 days and if she suffers any serious sight injury, I will explore all possible avenues to return her justice. Dear all dog owners, I’m sharing this so you can make more informed choices when deciding where not to bring your fur kids for their grooming. Also, Fur n Away, please don’t reply. Some concern, and an acknowledgment or apology over the phone call we had earlier would have been well received, but your approach was to further rub it in by being haughty, defensive and raising your voice at an upset and heart broken customer. This says a lot.
Thank you Tammy for the wonderful grooming you provided for my two furbabies who are my life! Tinkerbell and Chewie love going for their weekly grooming sessions, its like a second home for them. Thank you for loving and taking care of them.
Wonderful and experienced groomers!! My dogs have been going to Fur n Away for grooming for over 10 years. They are absolutely professionals and treat my dogs very well. They always let me know if there’s some developing skin issues or my dogs licking their paws too much etc, so I can watch out for them. My dogs love the groomers there too. My 2nd dog is a wired hair jack Russell terrier and he needs to be hand-stripped. Not many places the qualified groomers that know how to so hand stripping properly, but Fur n Away turf city’s boss can do that very well. He has been going here since he was a puppy.
I have been going to Tammy’s salon for more than 11 years. She groomed my border collie and Bichon. Very detailed cleaning and always careful with my fur kids. Lots of good advice from her on how to maintain the look/health of my kids. I trust them and will not hesitate to recommend them to any other paw parents!

Grooming fees at most Singapore salons vary based on your pet's size, breed, and coat condition. Smaller dogs and short-haired breeds typically attract lower base rates, while larger dogs or those with dense, double, or matted coats will usually be priced higher. Add-on services such as de-shedding treatments, teeth brushing, nail grinding, and ear cleaning are commonly offered at an additional charge on top of the base grooming package. Fur & Away has not published a detailed price list on this directory, so it is best to contact them directly with your pet's breed, weight, and coat type to receive an accurate quote. Most reputable grooming salons in Singapore require proof of up-to-date vaccinations before accepting a pet for grooming, as this protects all animals on the premises. For dogs, the standard vaccinations typically required are DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and rabies; bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination may also be requested, particularly if your dog will be around other animals. For cats, FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is the standard requirement. Vaccination records should generally be dated within the past 12 months, and you will normally be asked to present your pet's vaccination booklet or a vet-issued certificate at drop-off. Contact Fur & Away directly to confirm their specific vaccination policy before your first visit.
Fur & Away Pet Grooming Salon is KakiList-verified — meaning a real person has confirmed the operating details and contact channel — and is registered with Singapore's ACRA business registry. Grooming salons in Singapore are not required to hold an Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) licence unless they also offer boarding; no boarding licence is listed for this provider, which is consistent with a grooming-only operation. No specific insurance details are listed for Fur & Away at this time. Before your pet's first appointment, it is advisable to ask the salon directly about their protocol in the event that a pet is injured, experiences an adverse reaction, or becomes unwell during a grooming session. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
