When engaging a veterinary clinic, it helps to prepare a few essentials before your appointment. Bring along your pet's vaccination records and any prior medical history or treatment notes, as these allow the veterinarian to assess your animal's health accurately from the outset. If your pet has a particular temperament — anxious, reactive, or sensitive to handling — mention this when booking so the team can make appropriate arrangements. For new patients, a first consultation will typically cover a general health examination, discussion of diet and lifestyle, and any presenting concerns. Should your pet require ongoing care, ask about recurring appointment schedules and whether the clinic offers any package arrangements for routine services such as vaccinations or parasite prevention.
To arrange an appointment with Furrytails Veterinary Clinic, reach out via phone or through the enquiry form listed on their profile. Having your pet's breed, age, and vaccination history to hand will help the team prepare before your visit.

Brought our dog Maia to Furrytails Vet for enucleation and I honestly couldn’t be more thankful for how well they took care of her. The doctor was so detailed and took the time to explain everything from what to expect before the surgery to her aftercare. The nurses and staff were just as amazing. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they treat. Maia was in good hands from start to finish, and it made a stressful situation feel so much more manageable. She’s now home and recovering well, and we’re so relieved and grateful. Big thanks to the team we really appreciate you all!
I recently took my dogs Eevee, Coco and Riri, for consultations with Dr. Chan and Dr. Tano and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. Both veterinarians exhibited exceptional professionalism throughout our visit. They took the time to listen to my concerns and provided thoughtful, precise answers that really put my mind at ease. What stood out the most was their calm demeanor. They handled all of them with such care and gentleness, ensuring that my doggos felt comfortable and safe during the consultations and surgeries. Their knowledge and expertise were evident as they conducted thorough examinations and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend Dr. Chan and Dr. Tano for anyone looking for compassionate and professional care for their pets.
Dr. Chan is a kind-hearted and dedicated vet who truly loves our maltipoo. As first-time owners, his patience and clear guidance have been a great help. He never rushes during consultations, is always thorough in his examinations, and only recommends what we truly needed for our dog. His team is also helpful and supportive, always doing their best to accommodate our enquiries. We’re very grateful for the genuine care Dr Chan and team show for our maltipoo🫶
I have a 7yo dog and tried a few other veterinary clinics when I moved to the northeast area with my husband. We then found Furrytails as our to-go! Dr. Chan is really patient and meticulous, we felt his genuine passion for animals. He addressed all my concerns during consultations and gave good advice without recommending unnecessary treatments or products. When we were not able to get an appointment with Dr. Chan, we visited Dr. Tano instead and are glad the standards at Furrytails are quite consistent. You are in good hands one way or another! The front desk people are very helpful too, charges are transparent and a clear breakdown will be provided to you before payment or proceeding with any treatment. Response time is efficient whenever I contacted Furrytails for any ad-hoc queries :D We also sent our dog for dental cleaning at Furrytails and afterwards, Dr. Chan went above and beyond to call us and check on my dog on whether she is still all good after the anesthesia (never experienced this with other clinics before) 👍👍👍 When I adopted my 2 other cats, they were not in very good condition, skinny and down with fur and ear mites. We followed Dr Chan's treatment plan diligently and went for reviews, they recovered in no time! 🥰 In fact, I was a first time cat owner and the many consultations with Dr. Chan were so useful in growing closer with my cats and learning more about them. Overall, Furrytails exceeded our expectations and are glad we found this hidden gem among the bigger clinics! Everyone at Furrytails will try to make my furries feel comfortable whenever we are there. My furries are now all doing very well, healthy and of course, beautiful. Big thanks to Furrytails team🙏
Eternally grateful to Dr Chan and Dr Tano for treating my baby Ash when he came down with a gum inflammation and had to have dental cleaning done. I was overwhelmed with guilt for not detecting the inflammation earlier but both vets were kind with their words. Despite the countless texts I sent before and after the dental cleaning procedure, they were so patient in replying. Kudos to the nurses who have been super duper helpful and prompt in conveying the texts! I always feel safe leaving my baby in the hands of this awesome team! 💞💞💞 So much love from Ash and his mummy! Thank you so much!!🥰

Veterinary consultation fees in Singapore typically vary by the type of visit, the size and species of the animal, and any diagnostic or treatment procedures carried out. A standard consultation at a private clinic generally ranges from S$30 to S$80, with additional costs for blood tests, X-rays, medications, or surgical procedures charged separately. For specialist referrals, emergency after-hours visits, or complex diagnostics, fees can be considerably higher. It is worth asking Furrytails Veterinary Clinic for an itemised breakdown of charges before proceeding with any treatment, particularly for non-routine procedures. Pet insurance can help offset veterinary costs and is worth considering if you have not already arranged cover. See the full Veterinary Clinics cost guide for Singapore →
For dogs, core vaccinations typically include the DHPP combination (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza), along with rabies. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is often recommended if your dog frequents boarding facilities, grooming salons, or dog parks. Most clinics and service providers in Singapore require proof that core vaccinations are current, usually within the past 12 months. For cats, the FVRCP vaccine (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia) is standard, with rabies also required. If you are bringing a new pet to Furrytails Veterinary Clinic, bring your vaccination records to the first appointment. The clinic can advise on a catch-up schedule if your pet's vaccinations have lapsed.
Veterinary clinics and the veterinarians who practise in Singapore are regulated by the National Parks Board (NParks) under the Animals and Birds Act. Practising veterinarians are required to be registered, and you can request confirmation of the attending veterinarian's registration if you wish to verify credentials independently. For boarding or grooming services, facilities are required to hold a licence from the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS), a cluster of NParks. As Furrytails Veterinary Clinic is listed as a veterinary clinic, the primary regulatory framework is NParks veterinary registration. If you have concerns about a specific procedure or incident during a visit, raise these directly with the clinic and, if unresolved, with NParks. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
