Bring along up-to-date vaccination records — most reputable pet sitters and walkers in Singapore require proof of DHPP and rabies vaccinations before commencing care. It is worth asking whether a trial visit is available so your dog can acclimatise before a recurring arrangement begins. Clarify whether the service is drop-off based or whether a walker comes to your home, and discuss your preferred recurring schedule upfront.

Our 5months old pup - Omar just completed his full series of classes with Happy Dog. Considering our pup will grow really big, we felt that proper training is important. Whilst he seem stern on whatapp, Mark is actually really funny IRL. Mark was to the point, and on point to help us correct Omar's behavoir (& ours 😂, if we were the ones causing confusion to the pup). Before hiring Mark, we were trying to train the dog by following internet.. failed disasterously.. LOL. From the pup who peed & poo everywhere (but outside the house)..pulling on leash and bitey.. we now have a well behaved toilet trained pup (he goes out of the house when he needs a pee) who can walk off leash..(tried..leash broke and he zoom off, only to slowly come running back) and no longer pees and poo (& sleep in them) at night 🤞🏻 Really appreciated the help & guidance! Mark also de-myth a lot of stuff i read online with simple logical explanations. We brought Omar to a family gathering recently where Omar impressed many of them & earned praises from everyone for good behavoir, well toilet trained & just being able to follow commands.. compared to the much older dogs our family had interacted with at other folks' place.. oops 🤐! It was also remarked that our dog was happier.. perhaps because our '"communication" w the pup had improve. Both my partner & i felt that it was money well spent. Highly recommended..! 👍🏻👍🏻
I really appreciated how honest and upfront Mark was. He read the information I shared about my newly adopted senior dog carefully and gave clear, realistic advice, without pushing me to sign up for a training course (which many trainers typically would). It felt like his priority was genuinely helping me and my dog, rather than selling a program. I was very impressed by the lack of pressure. I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking for straightforward, thoughtful guidance. And if I have a dog in the future who is suitable and would benefit from a training course, he would absolutely be one of my top choices.
Mark was a great dog trainer, and we’re really happy with the experience. His communication with us was always clear and consistent, and he took the time to explain every step of the training so we felt confident following through at home. He was patient, knowledgeable, and truly understood our dog’s personality and needs. We saw real improvement, and our dog responded so well to his methods. We appreciate his professionalism and the genuine care he showed throughout the process. Highly recommend!
We decided to engage Mark for our 3 month pup and he's very knowledgeable- he gave us the skills and knowledge to further enforce training consistency with our girl and she's doing well! We really appreciate Mark’s professionalism, clear explanations, and his genuine care for our puppy’s development. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable, effective, and supportive dog training!
We've sent our puppy to Mark for Board and train for a month. Our main objective was to have her potty trained, she came back 100% potty trained! We didn't get to see our dog for a month, but he will provide updates every 2-3 days. Over the 1 month we received 5 photo updates, can be scary not knowing how your dog is doing, but we left Mark to do his job and he did a great one! Would highly recommend him for his board and train program.

Happy Dog Care is listed at a mid-range price point ($$), though specific per-visit rates are not published on the listing and should be confirmed directly with the provider. In Singapore, dog walking typically ranges from S$20–S$35 per 30-minute session, while pet sitting (including overnight stays) can range from S$50–S$100 or more per day depending on the number of pets and level of care required. Factors that commonly affect pricing include your dog's size and breed, the duration and frequency of visits, add-on services such as feeding or basic grooming, and whether transport is involved. Ask for a written confirmation of the rate and scope before the first session. See the full dog walking and pet sitting cost guide for Singapore →
Most dog walking and pet sitting providers in Singapore require proof that your dog is up to date on core vaccinations before beginning any service. For dogs, this typically means DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, and parainfluenza) and rabies, with most providers expecting vaccination records dated within the past 12 months. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is also frequently requested, particularly for services where dogs may come into contact with other animals. Bring your dog's vaccination booklet or a vet-issued certificate when arranging the first visit. If your dog's vaccinations are overdue, schedule a vet appointment before booking, as providers may decline service until records are current. Confirm the exact requirements with Happy Dog Care directly, as policies can vary.
Happy Dog Care is verified by KakiList, meaning its operating details and contact channels have been confirmed by a real person. However, no regulatory licences are listed on the provider's profile, and it is not registered with ACRA. For context, the Animal and Veterinary Service (AVS) under NParks oversees pet-related businesses in Singapore, and boarding facilities in particular are required to hold an AVS licence. Before proceeding, it is worth asking Happy Dog Care directly whether it holds any AVS licence or relevant insurance, and what its protocol is if your pet is injured or becomes unwell during a session. Reputable providers should be able to answer these questions clearly. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
