About Happy Pets Grooming Salon

About "Happy Pets Grooming Salon"

Happy Pets Grooming Salon is a KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered pet grooming salon based at 261 Yishun Street 22, offering services islandwide across Singapore. It holds a Google rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 64 reviews, which represents a moderate sample and provides a reasonable directional signal of customer satisfaction. Grooming sessions are priced at the mid-range tier ($$), though specific session fees are not publicly listed and should be confirmed directly with the salon.

When getting in touch, it helps to share your pet's size, breed, coat type, and temperament upfront, as these factors directly affect the grooming package and time required. Bring along your pet's vaccination records, as most reputable grooming salons in Singapore require proof of current vaccinations before accepting a booking. If your pet has not been groomed before or is known to be anxious, ask whether a trial or familiarisation visit is available so that your pet can settle in gradually. Clarify whether you will be dropping your pet off at the Yishun premises or whether mobile grooming is offered for islandwide coverage, and discuss whether you prefer a one-off appointment or a recurring grooming schedule suited to your pet's coat.

To take the next step, call Happy Pets Grooming Salon directly — phone is the listed contact channel — to confirm current availability, discuss your pet's specific needs, and lock in a booking date.

It’s not easy to find a groomer who ticks all the boxes — trustworthy, gentle, consistent and reasonably priced. I’m so glad we found this place. Highly recommended for any pawrent looking for quality grooming without breaking the bank!

The groomer was nice and friendly, but when we got home, we noticed a small cut on one of her toenails and found some rashes on our baby girl's tummy. We contacted the groomer, and they explained that the cut might have been due to trimming too short. They advised bringing her back to apply some medicine. Overall, everything healed within 1-2 days. 👍

I have to say Ken & Lulu are the best groomers (and owners of Happy Pets) in Singapore. I have been with them since 2007, from the puppyhood of my 2 late furbabies all the way until they were 15 years old. 15 years of regular grooming, that itself already says a lot. Ken & Lulu are genuine, kind and caring towards every single animals they handle and will always put their safety as the top priority. When so much have changed, they have remained consistent throughout the years. Now that my husband welcome our little puppy home, we are still going back to Happy Pets without a doubt although it’s still a long travel from East to North every 10 days. Once again, thanks Ken & Lulu for all these years and for the genuine friendship. I am very blessed to have known both of you.

I have been using their services since 2006 when I had my 1st dog, and now my 2nd and current dog. Happy Pets provide excellent services and their love for animals is undeniable. My dogs love to visit their place, likely due to the love they are being showered with when they are there for grooming services. Ken has also been helpful and provided sound advices to me when I was a first time dog owner. Even after I shifted outside of Yishun, they will go the extra miles to provide pick up/drop off services to ferry my dog for grooming services. Highly recommended to all pets owners who are looking for an affordable yet excellent grooming service!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Happy Pets Grooming Salon" charge?

Grooming prices in Singapore typically vary by pet size, breed, and coat condition. A basic bath-and-trim for a small dog generally starts from around S$50–S$80, while larger breeds or those with complex coats can run S$120 or more per session. Add-on services such as de-shedding treatments, teeth brushing, nail clipping, and ear cleaning are usually priced separately. Happy Pets Grooming Salon lists its pricing at the mid-range ($$) tier, but specific session fees are not publicly itemised. Contact the salon directly by phone to get an accurate quote based on your pet's size, breed, and grooming requirements. If mobile grooming is available, ask whether a transport surcharge applies for islandwide visits. See the full pet grooming cost guide for Singapore →

What vaccinations does "Happy Pets Grooming Salon" require?

Most grooming salons in Singapore require dogs to be up to date on their DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies vaccinations before a grooming appointment is accepted. For cats, the FVRCP combination vaccine is the standard requirement. Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination is commonly required at boarding and daycare facilities and may also be requested by some grooming salons, particularly if multiple pets are present on the premises. Vaccinations are typically required to have been administered within the past 12 months. You should bring your pet's vaccination booklet or a vet-issued certificate to your appointment. Confirm the exact vaccination requirements with Happy Pets Grooming Salon directly when making your booking, as policies can vary between providers.

Is "Happy Pets Grooming Salon" licensed and insured?

In Singapore, grooming-only facilities are not subject to mandatory AVS (Animal and Veterinary Service) licensing, which is primarily required for pet boarding operations. Happy Pets Grooming Salon does not list any AVS licence, which is consistent with a grooming-focused business that does not offer overnight boarding. The salon is KakiList-verified and ACRA-registered, confirming it operates as a legitimate registered business. That said, it is always advisable to ask the provider directly whether they carry insurance that covers incidents such as injury, allergic reaction, or illness occurring during a grooming session. Visit the facility if possible, observe the handling environment, and confirm the vaccination policy before your pet's first appointment.
