My cat was stung by a hornet and they were able to see her in short notice. We were new patients but they were very friendly and patient and explained the potential effects and possible solutions to me. Very efficient and can definitely feel the care and sincerity towards my cat!

New-ish pet owner here and found this place through google maps and decided to give it a try. Did not compare prices across other vets so can't really comment on the pricing, though it does feel reasonable. What I really appreciate is that I can feel that not just the vets, but the staff as well, are really friendly and genuinely care for my cat. Special shout-out to Dr Yvette and all the nurses for their help and support when Luna fell ill. My parents have also switched over to Adv vetcare from their previous vet for our 6(i think) year old dog.

Dear Dr Yvette and Dr Nick, It's been Jul 25 since Hershey first dislocated his leg, and 4 weeks since he had the bandage removed. He's doing well; leg is fine and no seizures. As for the skin allergy, he's biting and licking his paws, but manageable. We removed the cone on day 5, and he's now so happy and calm. Thank you so much for the care during this trying period. Dr Nick's confidence and optimism, and Dr Yvette's loving care helped us a lot. Please also convey our appreciation to the nurses and staff, who are all so kind and helpful. We were at Balestier most of the time, but also visited the Bedok and newly opened Outram branch, and the reception were all positive. Happy new year to all. regards, Hershey and family

Have been coming to the Balestier branch to get my dog, Oonagh, treated and for annual vaccinations. Her recent spate of UTI led us to consult with Dr Spencer. He has provided Oonagh with such good care throughout and after her bladder stone surgery. Even went the extra mile to provide us with updates to assure us about her condition. We can tell that he is passionate and truly cares for his patients. Thank you to Dr Spencer and the team of nurses!

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Harbour Veterinary Care" charge?

Veterinary consultation fees in Singapore typically vary depending on the type of appointment — a standard consultation, a specialist review, or an emergency visit will each carry a different base rate. Additional costs may arise from diagnostic tests (blood panels, X-rays, ultrasound), prescribed medication, vaccinations, and any minor procedures carried out during the visit. Harbour Veterinary Care displays a mid-range price indicator, though specific fees are not published on this listing. It is advisable to call ahead and ask for an estimate before your appointment, particularly if you anticipate diagnostic work or treatment beyond a routine check. This helps you plan for out-of-pocket costs and, where applicable, align with any pet insurance policy you hold. See the full Veterinary Clinics cost guide for Singapore →

What vaccinations does "Harbour Veterinary Care" require?

For dogs, the core vaccinations typically expected before any clinic-based service or boarding referral are DHPP (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus, parainfluenza) and rabies. Bordetella (kennel cough) is frequently required if your dog has had recent exposure to group settings. For cats, FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia) is the standard core vaccine, alongside rabies. Vaccination records are generally expected to be current within the past 12 months. Bring your pet's vaccination booklet or digital records to your first appointment so the clinic can verify coverage and advise on any boosters due. If your pet's vaccination history is incomplete or lapsed, the clinic may recommend a catch-up schedule before proceeding with elective procedures. Confirm the specific requirements with Harbour Veterinary Care directly when booking.

Is "Harbour Veterinary Care" licensed and insured?

Veterinary clinics operating in Singapore are regulated by the National Parks Board (NParks) under the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVS) framework. Licensed veterinary clinics must employ registered veterinarians whose qualifications are recognised by the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Singapore. This listing does not currently include details of specific regulatory licences held, so it is recommended that you confirm the clinic's AVS licensing status directly. Regarding insurance, individual clinics vary in their protocols for incidents that may arise during a visit or procedure. Before authorising any non-routine treatment, ask the clinic to explain their policy on complications and what recourse is available. Visit the facility, check the vaccination policy, and confirm insurance before drop-off.
