I have attended the Ashtanga classes on Sunday led by Sonia and as a regular practitioner across many studios, Sonia's classes are one of the better ones I have been to. She is detailed in her instructions gentle in her assists and ensures her students continues to progress in a manner that is safe and gentle. The studio is clean and it's a very familial studio environment. From a pricing perspective, this is one of the most affordable classes one can find in the city. I really want to get the word out there so that more people can experience Sonia's Ashtanga classes!
I’m so grateful to have found Dawn and John at Health Yoga & Therapy Singapore. After struggling with poor sleep, recurring heart discomfort, and chronic back pain, I finally understand the root causes instead of just managing symptoms. Their approach is unlike anything I’ve experienced, deeply knowledgeable, holistic, and incredibly intuitive. They don’t just work on the body; they address the emotional and nervous system patterns that have been stuck for a long term. Within a few sessions, I felt noticeable improvements in overall wellbeing. I’ve tried so many therapies across Singapore, but nothing comes close to the level of care and effectiveness here. Truly the best place in Singapore if you’re dealing with long-term tension, chronic pain, or emotional stress that keeps affecting your health. Highly recommended to anyone who wants real healing, not just temporary relief.
I can’t recommend Health Yoga & Therapy Singapore enough—especially if you have the chance to attend a class or therapy session with Instructor John. His presence, knowledge, and intuitive guidance truly set him apart. John has a remarkable ability to tailor each session to meet individual needs, whether you're dealing with physical tension, recovering from an injury, or just looking to deepen your practice. He creates a calm, supportive atmosphere that makes you feel safe and empowered, regardless of your experience level. His therapeutic approach is grounded yet deeply intuitive. During class, he pays close attention to alignment and energy flow, always offering helpful adjustments and encouragement. I left feeling lighter in both body and mind—something I hadn’t experienced in other studios. If you’re looking for a skilled, compassionate instructor who genuinely cares about your healing journey, John is it. I’ve already recommended his sessions to friends, and I’ll continue to do so!

Thankfully a friend recommended John at Health Yoga and Therapy Singapore, and it changed everything. John is highly experience, helpful, and genuinely caring. He worked with me to release my pain, and I felt such a significant improvement after this therapy sessions. On another occasion, I experienced sudden pain in the sole of my foot. I reached out to John, and he immediately attended to me. I was amazed to walk out of his studio pain-free! I've also joined his yoga classes, and they've been fantastic. The studio is clean, cosy, and welcoming. John's wealth of knowledge, patience, and attentiveness make every session valuable. I'm deeply grateful for his help and advice. No formal referral is required to book at Health Yoga Singapore. Most holistic yoga providers conduct a brief intake discussion at the first visit covering health history, current fitness level, and any contraindications — such as recent injury, cardiovascular conditions, or pregnancy — before the session begins. If you have a complex or acute medical condition, a note from your GP can help the instructor tailor the session safely and may also support insurance reimbursement claims if you are covered under an integrated shield or corporate wellness plan.
Yoga instruction in Singapore is not governed by a statutory licensing board in the way physiotherapy or TCM is, so there is no mandatory public register to cross-check. Credible yoga instructors typically hold certifications from Yoga Alliance (RYT-200 or RYT-500), the British Wheel of Yoga, or equivalent internationally recognised bodies. Specialist modalities such as prenatal yoga or therapeutic yoga may carry additional credentials. Health Yoga Singapore does not list its regulatory licences on this profile. It is worth asking the studio directly for the lead instructor's certification, years of teaching experience, and any specialist training before committing to a package. Confirm the practitioner's credentials on the relevant body's public register before treatment.
