We chose Heartfield Kindergarten because of the values, the environment and the sensitivity with which they opened their doors to us when we arrived in Singapore. Now that we have closed this stage in this loving school, I would like to convey my greatest satisfaction and gratitude to Sherlyn (principal) and all her human and professional team. You have been a fundamental pillar in our daughter's academic development and emotional well-being. Thanks!

We love Heartfield Kindergarten and how they provide an enriching, caring and fun learning environment for the children. Our daughter loves all her sweet teachers, the outdoor play areas and engaging activities that stimulate her various senses! It’s awesome that she gets to play with friends of different cultures, as it opens up her world and gives her opportunities to practice curiosity, respect and compassion.

Totally love this school! My daughter completed her whole preschool education there and my son is currently in the Captains class (K1). A well-rounded school that provides (apart from academic support) lots of outdoor activity, creative thinking, teaches social skills, life skills and grit in a loving environment. Teachers know each child individually and my kids love every day that they attend school.

Very discriminatory. Disappointing. Haven’t even met my child and once she heard that my child is possibly on the spectrum, the staff immediately then didn’t want to give me a date to visit the school and told me that it’s full and there are already special needs kids already. I do understand that there may be a limit to the number of kids with “special needs” but you simply cannot assess that over the phone and just decide that you don’t want to offer a spot, even on the wait list. She clearly told me (before I spoke about “special needs”) that my child would be 2nd on the wait list. Sad how early childhood educators are so discriminatory at this age, how do we expect our adults of the future to flourish if they are not even given an opportunity at this age

My twin sons have had the best experience at this school. The teachers are a bunch of caring, responsible and patient people which have helped my boys on their long journey forward.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does "Heartfield Kindergarten" charge per month?

Heartfield Kindergarten is listed at the mid-range ($$) price tier, though a specific monthly fee figure has not been published on this listing. For kindergarten programmes in Singapore, monthly fees at private and independent centres typically range from S$160 to S$800 or more, depending on the operator, programme hours, and curriculum model. Contact the centre directly to confirm current fees before enrolling. Beyond the monthly fee, families should ask about a one-off registration fee and whether a deposit (commonly equivalent to one to two months' fees) is required to secure a place. Enquire also about any costs for uniforms, insurance, and enrichment add-ons. Childcare and kindergarten fees in Singapore are GST-exempt, so no GST should be added to quoted fees. What subsidies can I claim at "Heartfield Kindergarten"?

Singapore citizen children enrolled at ECDA-licensed centres may be eligible for government subsidies, subject to eligibility criteria. The Basic Subsidy provides up to S$300 per month for childcare and up to S$600 per month for infant care. Working mothers employed for at least 56 hours per month may additionally qualify for the Working Mother's Child Care Subsidy (WMS). Lower-income families may receive further support through the Additional Subsidy, which can bring total combined subsidy up to approximately S$710 per month. For kindergartens specifically, the KiFAS (Kindergarten Fee Assistance Scheme) provides means-tested support for families with citizen children in eligible kindergartens. Singapore Permanent Residents may receive partial subsidies. Subsidy amounts and qualifying conditions are subject to change — always check directly with ECDA at go.gov.sg/ecda for the most current figures and to confirm which subsidy schemes apply at this centre.

Is there a waitlist at "Heartfield Kindergarten"?

Demand for preschool and kindergarten places in Singapore can be competitive, particularly for popular centres and for infant care vacancies. As a general guide, families are advised to enquire at least three to six months ahead of their intended start date. January is the primary intake month for most programmes, so enquiries for that cohort are best made by mid-year at the latest. To secure a place, centres typically require payment of a registration fee and, in some cases, a deposit. These are usually non-refundable if the place is subsequently declined. Contact Heartfield Kindergarten directly via WhatsApp, phone, or the online enquiry form to check current availability for your child's intended start month and age group.
