About HireMop
HireMop is a part-time cleaning service operating islandwide across Singapore. The listing is KakiList-verified, and the provider holds a 4.6-star rating across 199 Google reviews — a robust sample that gives reasonable confidence in service consistency. Pricing is positioned in the mid-range tier. No ACRA registration has been confirmed, and no regulatory licences are listed, which is worth noting before booking, particularly if foreign helpers are deployed (see below).
When booking with HireMop, confirm the hourly rate and the minimum session length (typically three to four hours), whether the same helper is assigned on a recurring basis or drawn from a rotating pool, and what the substitute policy is if your regular cleaner is unavailable. Clarify whether equipment and cleaning supplies are provided by HireMop or need to be on hand at your property. For one-off deep cleans, post-renovation cleans, or pre-move-in cleans, ask whether a fixed quote is available rather than an open hourly rate. If any of the helpers deployed are foreign nationals, Singapore law requires that they be employed via a MOM-licensed cleaning company — direct hire of a foreign part-time cleaner is illegal and the penalty falls on the homeowner.
To get started, reach out to HireMop via WhatsApp, phone, or the enquiry form, confirm the legal deployment status of the assigned helper, and request the session details and rate in writing before your first booking.
If the helper is foreign, confirm the company's MOM cleaning business licence before booking — the penalty for hiring an unlicensed foreign freelancer lands on you, not them.
I would like to thank Hiremop Pte Ltd for providing me with such a positive experience. The cleaner was very punctual and worked efficiently. At the beginning, I was actually a little surprised by how fast she was working and even wondered if everything had been cleaned thoroughly. However, after checking carefully, I found the results to be satisfactory and acceptable. Time management was handled very well. She also provided a vacuum cleaner to clean my house, as well as proper cleaning tools for washing my bathrooms. This level of service alone is more than enough reason for me to continue booking with them.
I’m very disappointed with the service from Hiremop. I booked a 2-hour cleaning session. The cleaner was supposed to arrive at 7:00pm but only showed up at 7:19pm. Then at 8:54pm — barely 1 hour 35 minutes later — she reported that the entire house was “done.” When I checked immediately after, multiple areas were clearly not cleaned at all. There was still visible dust on surfaces, untouched spots around the house, and even the litter bin wasn’t cleared. This was not about “stubborn stains” or deep scrubbing — these were basic cleaning tasks that were simply skipped. It felt like the cleaner rushed the job, took shortcuts, and left early while claiming the work was completed. What made it worse was the company’s response. Instead of acknowledging the incomplete work, they replied with a generic explanation about stove stains — which had nothing to do with the issues I raised. It showed they didn’t properly read or understand the feedback before responding. If you’re paying for a professional cleaning service, you expect basic thoroughness and honesty about time spent. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations. I would not recommend Hiremop based on both the quality of the cleaning and how this complaint was handled.
I would like to compliment Aye for her excellent cleaning service. I booked a 4-hour session, and throughout the time I repeatedly asked her to take a short break, but she remained dedicated and insisted on completing the job. Her commitment, work ethic, and attention to detail were truly commendable. Overall, she did a very good job, and I’m very satisfied with her cleaning service, and she have a good attitude
Absolutely unacceptable service from Hiremop. I booked a 2-hour cleaning session starting at 7:00pm. The cleaner only arrived at 7:19pm, already cutting into the paid time. Then at 8:54pm — well before the 2 hours were even up — she claimed the entire house was finished. That was simply not true. When I checked, there were multiple areas still dusty, surfaces not wiped, and obvious spots completely untouched. These were not deep-cleaning issues or “stubborn stains” — they were basic, visible dirt and dust that any proper cleaner should have handled. I even had to clear a litter bin myself afterwards. This shows the job was rushed and corners were clearly cut. It felt like the cleaner was more interested in leaving early than actually doing the work properly, while still marking the job as “completed.” What made this worse was the company’s response. Instead of taking responsibility, they gave a template-style excuse about stove stains, which had nothing to do with the complaint. It’s clear they did not even bother to properly read or understand the feedback before replying. Paying customers expect honesty, full service time, and basic cleaning standards. This experience showed poor work ethic, lack of supervision, and careless customer support. I would strongly caution others before booking with Hiremop. This was a waste of money and time.
We are very satisfied with Khin today. We paid extra for the stove cleaning and the result was stunning; Tough grime was removed. I recommend people to book as early as possible because their schedule can be a little busy and unpredictable for me.

HireMop uses an hourly pricing model. Licensed cleaning companies in Singapore typically charge S$18–25 per hour, with a minimum of three to four hours per visit. One-off deep cleans generally run S$150–800 depending on property size, post-renovation cleans S$350–1,800, and pre-move-in cleans S$400–2,500. Confirm whether equipment and supplies are included in the rate or homeowner-provided, and ask whether a fixed quote is available for one-off jobs rather than an open hourly charge. Foreign part-time helpers must be deployed via a MOM-licensed cleaning company — direct hire from Carousell, Facebook, or WhatsApp groups is illegal under MOM rules. The penalty (S$5,000–10,000 fine plus a two-year ban on hiring any domestic helpers) lands on the homeowner, not just the cleaner. No regulatory licence is currently listed for HireMop on KakiList, so it is important to ask the company directly to confirm its MOM cleaning business licence status before booking any foreign helper. Singaporean and PR helpers can be hired directly without these constraints, and ACRA registration alone is sufficient for operators deploying only Singaporean or PR cleaners.
Public liability insurance — typically S$500,000 minimum — covers damage to your property or belongings during a session. Ask HireMop for the policy number in writing before the first visit. On substitutes: helpers occasionally take leave or fall ill, and a reliable company sends a trained replacement within 24 hours rather than cancelling at short notice. Also confirm whether HireMop operates a regular-helper model (the same cleaner each visit) or a booking-pool model (different helpers each time) — consistency matters for trust, familiarity with your space, and cleaning quality over time.
If HireMop isn't the right fit, these are other part-time helper providers on KakiList worth shortlisting. All are independently listed — no affiliate fees, no "featured" sponsorships.
