Prospective clients typically begin with an initial consultation or introductory session to assess goals — whether stress management, flexibility, strength, rehabilitation, or general wellbeing. Hom Yoga's holistic focus suggests an approach that addresses the whole person rather than purely physical conditioning. It is worth confirming class formats (group vs private, in-studio vs online), session duration, instructor specialisations, and any package or term commitment options before booking. A cancellation policy should also be reviewed, as most yoga studios apply a short-notice cancellation window.
To get started, reach out via phone or the online enquiry form to ask about class schedules, introductory offers, and availability at the Orchard Road studio.
Confirm the practitioner's licence number on the relevant board's public register before treatment.
My sister and I attended one of their yoga classes. The studio is well-equipped and centrally located. The class itself was good. It was a busy class and the teacher was generally great at leading everyone in the room. I wish there were more options and variations on some of the more challenging postures and variations. But all in all, a good experience.
With gratitude beyond words..I graduated from Iris's 200 hours vinyasa yin yoga teacher training today. I've learnt and received so much more than I expected from Iris and my classmates. I'm overwhelmed by happiness now...if you are still thinking about whether you should sign up for YTT..just do it!!! Take Iris' YTT at HOM YOGA and it's going to have huge impact on your life. I'm sure you will not regret!!! This is the best decision I've made in the recent years and I'm so proud of it.
HOM (orchard) is a super clean and bright, fitness-centric, city-dweller's yoga studio - [perfectly lit for yoga selfies]. Would get full five stars if it didn't change its prices so often.
There are so many mats packed into the studio that there is barely any space to move comfortably. So when the class is more than half full, it’s going to be a frustrating experience. To make matters worse, the air conditioning isn’t switched on (perhaps to save cost) and there are no fans or windows for ventilation. So even in a non-heated class, it gets really uncomfortable. The lockers and showers are also very badly in need of repair. For the price point, it’s one of the worst experiences ever.
Not at all what I expected. I was super excited to try Hom in Orchard as I had read many articles mentioning this studio as one of the best in Singapore. Perhaps that was true 5 years ago but they are in major need of a renovation. Firstly, upon arriving the woman at the front desk was not at all welcoming, as is usually expected when you go to a new studio for the first time. She handed me 2 very old, discolored, smelling towels. The locked room has a musty very dirty smell. I opened a locked and was greeted with another disgusting smell. I peeked around and was appalled by the state of the showers and sinks. Black mold and mildew everywhere. Extremely unhygienic and disappointing. I decided to bring my bag back out to my car because I didn't want to leave it in the smelling locker. I went to check out the yoga room and couldn't believe how many mats were squished into the room, if it was a full class there would be no room to move around and feel comfortable. I have been to many many yoga studios in many different places and this by far was the grossest and biggest let down. Before the class even started I had to leave as I was so disgusted by the filth and lack of upkeep!! It is in need of a complete locker room renovation!! Would never recommend! I am forfeiting my class pack as I could not bring myself to go back!! So sad!

Hom Yoga Singapore displays a mid-range pricing tier, though specific per-session rates were not publicly listed at the time of this entry. Singapore yoga studios typically charge S$25–50 per group class drop-in, S$180–400 for a 10-class package, and S$80–180 for a private one-to-one session. An introductory or first-class offer is common and worth asking about. Confirm whether the quoted rate covers the full session or attracts add-ons such as mat hire or workshop surcharges, and ask about the no-show and late-cancellation policy — most studios apply a 12–24 hour cancellation window before forfeiting the class credit. No formal referral is required to attend a yoga studio in Singapore. However, if you have an existing injury, chronic condition (such as a spinal issue, hypertension, or post-surgical recovery), or are pregnant, it is advisable to inform the instructor before your first class so they can modify postures appropriately or recommend a more suitable programme level. Most studios ask new clients to complete a short intake form covering health history and fitness goals. For a holistic practice, the first session also functions as an informal assessment of where you are physically and mentally. If you have a complex medical condition, a GP referral letter is not required for attendance but may help if you intend to claim the cost through an insurance or corporate wellness benefit.
Yoga instruction is not regulated by a statutory licensing board in Singapore — there is no government register equivalent to the Allied Health Professions Council or the Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners Board. Instructor credibility is instead signalled by voluntary certifications: Yoga Alliance (RYT-200 or RYT-500 are the most widely recognised), Yoga Alliance Professionals, or specialist training in areas such as prenatal yoga, restorative yoga, or yoga therapy. Hom Yoga Singapore did not list specific instructor credentials in the data available. It is recommended that you ask the studio directly about the lead instructor's training lineage, the number of teaching hours completed, and any specialist qualifications before committing to a package. For therapeutic or rehabilitation-focused yoga, a referral from a physiotherapist or doctor adds an additional layer of safety assurance.
